Abstract: A thyristor-based dc solid state circuit breaker (SSCB) named Y-type includes a new complementary commutation circuit including a capacitor-capacitor pair, which features three advantages. First, a fast commutation is achieved using a countercurrent pulse injection by the capacitor-capacitor pair structure. Second, metal-oxide varistors (MOVs) are disconnected from the power line when SSCB is OFF, which solves the reliability issue due to the MOV degradation and enhances the voltage utilization rate of the main switch. Third, benefiting from the capacitor-capacitor pair structure, reliable reclosing and rebreaking are obtained for practical applications.

Abstract: A method for network selection, a terminal device and a network device are provided. The method comprises the following operations. A current first location information of the terminal device is determined. A candidate network information corresponding to the current first location information is selected from a candidate network information set, and the candidate network information set includes correspondences between pieces of first location information and pieces of candidate network information, and the candidate network information indicates at least one candidate public land mobile network (PLMN) for satellite communication. Network selection is performed according to the candidate network information corresponding to the current first location information.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for connection handling. The method includes: receiving a connection request that requests for establishing or resuming a connection with a base station; and instructing a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) of a terminal to perform a predetermined operation based on an obtained first connection result corresponding to the connection request. In this way, the problems associated with inconsistent operations in the user plane optimization in the related art can be solved and the consistency in operations between the Access Stratum (AS) and NAS of the terminal can be achieved.
