The method may include axially displacing one or more of the receptacle, the sleeve, and the ferrule such that the receptacle may be positioned at least partially within the sleeve and may at least partially surround the ferrule. The method may include aligning a fiber stub that may have a fiber stub pigtail and a fiber stub flange with the receptacle. The method may include axially displacing one or both of the fiber stub and the receptacle such that the fiber stub may be positioned in close proximity with the ferrule. The method may include coupling the sleeve via the radial flange and the fiber stub via the fiber stub flange with a retention device.

    Abstract: Provided is a crystalline layered silicate, having an X-ray diffraction pattern comprising reflections at 2-theta values of (5.3±0.2)°, (8.6±0.2)°, (9.8±0.2)°, (21.7±0.2)° and (22.7±0.2). Also provided are a process for preparing the crystalline layered silicate and uses of the layered silicate. The process comprises steps of: (i) preparing a synthesis mixture comprising water, a source of Si, and a structure directing agent comprising a diethyldimethylammonium compound; (ii) subjecting the synthesis mixture obtained from (i) to hydrothermal synthesis conditions comprising heating the synthesis mixture obtained from (i) to a temperature in the range of from 110 to 180° C. and keeping the synthesis mixture at a temperature in this range under autogenous pressure for 1 to 6 days, obtaining a mother liquor comprising the crystalline layered silicate.

The computer-implemented method can further comprise performing, by the device, a multi-task learning process to determine a final number of the different clusters for the data set using a multi-task learning process that is dependent on an output of an emotion classification model that classifies emotion types respectively associated with the facial expressions.

    Abstract: A method for producing high-activity lignin and by-product furfural and an application, includes: using a dissolving pulp pre-hydrolysate and/or sulfite cooking liquor as the raw material, and catalyzing by employing an acid as a catalyst to obtain the lignin and furfural, wherein the acid is one or a combination of at least two of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, and acetic acid. According to the method, the yield of the obtained lignin and furfural is further increased by catalyzing the dissolving pulp pre-hydrolysate and/or the sulfite cooking liquor with the acid. Lignin especially has higher reactivity and low molecular weight, and the ratio of 5-methyl furfural in furfural to furfural is in a proper range, so that the strength of furan resin prepared from furfural is improved.
