    Abstract: The disclosure discloses a swirler-type gas-liquid two-phase flow metering device, mainly including a swirler, a capacitance probe module, a hot-wire probe module, a hub and a data acquisition computer. A flow measurement method using the gas-liquid two-phase flow metering device includes: adjusting, by the swirler, flow patterns of an incoming gas-liquid two-phase flow into a uniform annular flow, measuring gas and liquid phase distribution by the capacitance probe module, and measuring gas and liquid phase flow velocity distribution by the hot-wire probe, and volumetric flow rates of gas, thereby obtaining liquid phases according to flow areas and average flow velocities of the gas and liquid phases. Compared with the existing multiphase flowmeter, the gas-liquid two-phase flow metering device of the disclosure has the advantages of small size, compact structure, small resistance loss, wide measurement range, high measurement accuracy, etc.

They can find particular use in producing water-soluble highly-branched hydrophilic polymeric material and in producing water gradient contact lenses.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of fiber-optic gas sensing and laser photoacoustic spectroscopy, and reliability of a gas detection system is improved by actively selecting a working frequency of low noise interference combined with an optical fiber photoacoustic sensing probe capable of isolating high-frequency noise. A gas enters a photoacoustic microcavity through gaps on a sound-sensitive diaphragm after diffusing into a miniature air chamber through a plurality of micropores. Photoacoustic excitation light is incident into the photoacoustic microcavity through a fiber-optic collimator and then excited to generate a photoacoustic pressure wave to cause the sound-sensitive diaphragm to vibrate periodically. An end face of a single-mode optical fiber and the sound-sensitive diaphragm constitutes a fiber-optic Fabry-Perot interferometer. The interferometer measures a deflection of the diaphragm and inverts a concentration of the to-be-measured gas.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a device for preparing a modified poly (m-phenylene isophthalamide) (PMIA) fiber by continuous polymerization-dry-wet spinning. The method includes the following steps: (1) preparing a mixed solution of m-phenylenediamine (MPD) and a copolymerized diamine monomer in N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAC) serving as a solvent using a cosolvent; (2) mixing isophthaloyl chloride (IPC) with the mixed solution of the MPD and the copolymerized diamine monomer in the DMAC, and conducting pre-polycondensation and polycondensation in sequence to obtain a modified PMIA resin solution; and (3) subjecting the modified PMIA resin solution to additive addition, filtration, defoaming, and dry-wet spinning to obtain the modified PMIA fiber.

The method further includes performing a first heat process at a first temperature to heat up the dielectric layer, where the first heat process shifts an initial resonance wavelength of the ring resonator to a first resonance wavelength shorter than the initial resonance wavelength. The first heat process permanently shifts the initial resonance wavelength to the first resonance wavelength, the first resonance wavelength being a wavelength when no heat is being applied to the ring resonator.
