  • Publication number: 20190156296
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system includes a processor(s) continuously monitoring a current condition of a user of an Internet of Things (IoT) device, via the IoT device. The processor(s) determines that the current condition indicates an issue with the well-being of the user. The processor(s) identifies upcoming event(s), within a given temporal period, in which the user will participate. The processor(s) determines that the current condition of the user will negatively impact at least one event of the upcoming event(s). The processor(s) generates action(s) comprising a change to the event, where the action(s) is executed by interacting with one or more applications deployed on the one or more target computer resources (accessible to the one or more processors via a network connection). The processor(s) automatically executes the at least one action on the one or more target computer resources.

  • Publication number: 20190151844
Abstract: A method includes conveying a detection solution containing a target amplicon into a detection module of a molecular diagnostic test device. The detection module includes a detection surface including a series of capture probes to which a first portion of the target amplicon is bound when the detection solution is conveyed. A first reagent formulated to produce a visible signal indicating a presence of the target amplicon is then conveyed into the detection module. The first reagent is bound to a second portion of the target amplicon when the first reagent is conveyed. A second reagent is conveyed into the detection module. The second reagent includes a precipitating substrate formulated to catalyze the production of the visible signal by producing an insoluble colored product when the second reagent is in contact with the first reagent. The method includes viewing the visible signal via a transparent portion of the detection module.

  • Patent number: 10294123
Abstract: Embodiments described generally relate to systems comprising a humidifier (e.g., a bubble column humidifier) and a heating device (e.g. a heat exchanger), and associated methods. In certain embodiments, the heating device heats a first liquid stream comprising a condensable fluid in liquid phase (e.g., water) and a dissolved salt (e.g., NaCl) to a relatively low temperature (e.g., about 90° C. or less) prior to the first liquid stream entering the humidifier through a main humidifier liquid inlet. In some cases, the system comprising the humidifier and the heating device requires only low-grade heat to operate, which may be advantageous due to the low cost and high availability of such heat.

  • Patent number: 10294972
Abstract: It relates to a joggle structure and a furniture with the same. The joggle structure has a groove and a tongue cooperating with the groove. The groove has a bottom surface and two groove side faces. Width of the groove gradually increases from groove opening to the bottom surface. The two groove side faces are a part of a rotational curved surface around a rotation axis arranged in the middle of the two groove side faces. The tongue has two tongue side faces for matching with the two groove side faces, and the two tongue side faces have the same shape as the groove side faces. In the process of engaging, the tongue is rotated with respect to the groove and joggled into the groove to make the two tongue side faces attach to the two groove side faces.
