  • Publication number: 20190129099
Abstract: A wafer-level optoelectronic packaging method includes fabricating a pre-singulated wafer. The pre-singulated wafer has a plurality of sub-mounts. A first sub-mount of the plurality of sub-mounts includes an optical waveguide formed on a substrate, a multi-layered sub-mount boundary wall that is formed on the optical waveguide, and a v-groove that is external to the sub-mount boundary wall. A plurality of optical dies are attached to the corresponding plurality of sub-mounts, such that each optical die is aligned to the optical waveguide of the corresponding sub-mount. A cap-wafer including a plurality of caps is attached to the pre-singulated wafer to obtain an encapsulated pre-singulated wafer. The encapsulated pre-singulated wafer is diced to obtain a plurality of optoelectronic packages. The optical waveguide of each optoelectronic package serves as an interconnection conduit between the corresponding optical die and an optical fiber placed in the corresponding v-groove.

  • Patent number: 10272713
Abstract: This device is composed of two pins. Each pin is made of plastic and a piece of magnetic that has opposite magnetic polarity facing each other. The pin can be used as a single unit where it can hold stationery such as papers, envelopes or small pamphlet to a ferromagnetic surface such as metal office cabinet, metal chalk board, refrigerator door or anywhere ferromagnetic surface exist. When used as one single unit the paper or stationery have some degree of rotational freedom and will self-center itself with the heaviest side down. It can also be attached to a center of a personal business card or credit card and be spun like a top vertically, horizontally or upside down on a ferromagnetic surface. However, when used as two individual pin to attach the stationery to a ferromagnetic surface such as metal office cabinet, metal chalk board, refrigerator door or anywhere ferromagnetic surface exist the stationeries will have no degree of rotational freedom and it will be fixed into position.

  • Patent number: 10277713
Abstract: Information identifying a user as having accessed a first network device from an external network connected device is received at an intermediate network connected device from an edge network device. The intermediate network connected device is arranged between the first network device and a second network device. The intermediate network connected device, the first network device and the second network device are within the network and the external network connected device is outside the network. A request to access the second network device is received at the intermediate network connected device from the first network device. It is determined that the user is a source of the request via the first network device based upon the received information. The request from the first network device is evaluated based upon determining the user is the source of the request.
