  • Publication number: 20170219651
Abstract: Techniques relate to an interactive logic diagnostic process. A diagnostic iteration loop is performed. When a critical failure does not have the diagnostic resolution that meets a predefined diagnostic resolution, potential faults related to the critical failure are isolated. When the critical failure has a diagnostic resolution that meets the predefined diagnostic resolution, the diagnostic iteration loop ends. Path focused fault test patterns are applied to the device under test in order to generate updated results of the path focused fault test patterns, such that the diagnostic resolution has been increased because a number of the potential faults related to the critical failure has decreased, and/or a size of a physical area of the potential faults related to the critical failure has decreased. The diagnostic iteration loop is returned to.

  • Publication number: 20170199946
Abstract: Techniques relate to dynamic complex fault model generation for diagnostics simulation and pattern generation. Inline fabrication parametric data is received, and the inline fabrication parametric data is a collection of physical measurements made on a device under test during a manufacturing fabrication of the device under test. A fault model of defects is generated according to the inline fabrication parametric data, where the fault model is based on a physical design of the device under test combined with the inline fabrication parametric data for the device under test. Test patterns are generated based on the fault model and the inline fabrication parametric data, such that the test patterns are configured to test the device under test in order to obtain results that are based on the inline fabrication parametric data. A simulation is run of the device under test using the results and the inline fabrication parametric data.

  • Patent number: 9588177
Abstract: Technical solutions are described for optimizing a set of test configurations used for testing an electronic circuit that includes latches. An example method includes receiving a test configuration that includes settings that initiate a set of predetermined input values and corresponding expected output values. The method also includes evaluating the test configuration by executing the electronic circuit according to the test configuration and recording parametric data during the execution, where the parametric data is representative of switching activity of the latches in the electronic circuit. The evaluation includes analyzing the parametric data to identify presence of a predetermined pattern in the switching activity and selecting the test configuration based on the predetermined pattern being absent/present in the switching activity.

  • Publication number: 20160148193
Abstract: A near field communication device included in a secure transaction card provides an addition and/or transitional communication link for communicating secure transaction information. The near field communication device may be selectively engaged or disengaged and, when engaged, either active or passive modes of operation of the near field communication device can be selected. in the active mode, secure transaction information is transmitted upon establishment of a communication link with a complementary near field communication device. In the passive mode, secure transaction information is transmitted upon interrogation from a complementary near field communication device. Secure transaction information is generated and stored for transmission in a memory and at least a portion of the memory is erased or nulled upon transmission or upon expiration of a selected period of time.

  • Patent number: 9182881
Abstract: A method and computer system for rapid and accurate automatic vectoring of a graphical user interface pointer to a selectable item on a display. Based upon pointer movement input from a pointing device (e.g., a mouse, touchpad or specially configured keyboard), a direction of travel vector from an initial anchor position towards a target item is determined. The location of the target item is extrapolated and the pointer is automatically moved to that target item. To ensure that the pointer moves to the intended target item, the location of the target item is extrapolated based upon the direction of travel vector and default and/or user defined parameters. Optional user defined parameters include initial pointer anchor position, vector sensitivity, automatic selection of target item, and user defined pointer limitations.

  • Patent number: 8930278
Abstract: A method and system for allowing the purchaser of an on-demand entertainment session of predetermined time duration to reaccess that portion of the session not used. On-demand passenger entertainment services in airline flights often offer services, such as movies, of a predetermined time duration which time is longer than the time of flight. The method and system disclosed allows purchasers to gain access on another flight to the unused portion of the services, such as, the unseen portion of a movie, terminated at the end of the initial flight.

  • Publication number: 20150007346
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for protecting confidential information in a document displayed in a user interface. A computer displays in the user interface a non-confidential part of the document without displaying a confidential part of the document and without displaying any indication that the document includes the confidential part. While the computer displays the non-confidential part of the document without displaying the confidential part of the document and without displaying any indication that the document includes the confidential part, the computer receives from a user authentication information and a request for display of the confidential part of the document, if any, and in response to the authentication information and the request, the computer displaying the confidential part of the document along with the non-confidential part of the document.

  • Patent number: 8843797
Abstract: A method for detecting unstable signatures when testing a VLSI chip that includes adding to an LFSR one or more save and restore registers for storing an initial seed consisting of 0s and 1s; loading the initial seed into the LFSR and one or more save and restore registers; initializing a MISR and running test loops. Upon reaching a predetermined number of test loops, moving a signature of the MISR to a shadow register; then, performing a signature stability test by loading the initial seed to the LFSR; executing the predetermined number of BIST test loops, and comparing a resulting MISR signature for differences versus a previous signature stored in a MISR save and restore register, wherein unloading is performed by way of serial MISR unloads and single bit XORs.
