Publication number: 20120247284Abstract: An interlock driving instrument is configured to be releasably lockable to a fastener, such as a bone anchor. A bone anchor can be locked to the interlock driving instrument by inserting an expandable distal end of the shaft of the interlock driving instrument into the driving opening of the bone anchor and expanding the distal end within the driving opening by translating an expansion member into the expandable distal end. Alternatively, the bone anchor can be locked to the interlock driving instrument by inserting the distal end of the shaft of the interlock driving instrument into the driving opening of the bone anchor and translating a sliding member along a sloped surface defined in a channel extending into the shaft.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 28, 2011Publication date: October 4, 2012Applicant: SYNTHES USA, LLCInventors: Nicole Murray, Frank Andrew Wilson, Kyle Henning, Sean Powell

Patent number: 8083887Abstract: A method of forming a container (100) includes heating two webs of material and indexing the webs into a vacuum thermoformer (40) which forms first (220) and second trays (110) simultaneously, wherein the second tray is disposed within a space of the first tray to define a reservoir (300) therebetween. A portion of the first tray is brought into contact with a flange portion of the second tray, and joined by a heat seal within the vacuum thermoformer. A punch device within the vacuum thermoformer perforates a drain aperture (117) in a central region of the bottom of the second tray, such that the drain aperture is in fluid communication with the reservoir. The cut-out section is adhered to the bottom of the first tray to eliminate the presence of any scrap material. The joined first and second tray is indexed out of the vacuum thermoformer and trimmed to separate an assembled container from the web supply.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2007Date of Patent: December 27, 2011Assignee: Pactiv CorporationInventors: Jon Michael LaRue, Craig Edward Cappel, Frank Andrew Petlak, Marshall Van Domelen

Publication number: 20100146146Abstract: System, computer implemented process and computer program product for managing media content among a plurality of devices which includes the exchange of device status data among two or more devices. The exchanged device status data includes individual device capabilities and indicia of available media content stored within each of the devices. Each device determines from the exchanged device status data whether any differences exist in available media content stored among the plurality of devices and also whether any of the determined differences in media content will require transcoding to compatible data formats. Once the determinations have been completed, synchronizing and optionally transcoding of the available media content is performed based on the determinations made from the exchanged device status data. Any required transcoding may be performed either before or after media content synchronizing.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2008Publication date: June 10, 2010Applicant: Proxure, Inc.Inventors: Frank Andrew Welts, Ben Morrelli, Gregory Montalvo, Daniel Thomas Tapuitea Reynolds, Andreas Marc Benamou
