Abstract: An absorbent article includes a vapor permeable backsheet, a liquid permeable topsheet positioned in facing relation with the backsheet; and an absorbent body located between the backsheet and the topsheet. The absorbent body may include multiple zones of high air permeability. The absorbent article may also include a ventilation layer between the absorbent body and the backsheet and a surge management layer between the absorbent body and the topsheet. The article exhibits improved air exchange within the article during use. As a result, the article maintains the temperature and exhibits substantially reduced levels of hydration of the wearer's skin when in use which renders the skin less susceptible to the viability of microorganisms. The absorbent article may further include lotion formulations and/or treatment compositions thereon for maintaining or improving skin health.

Abstract: A surfactant and skin wellness composition useful for imparting durability and wettability to a substrate as well as skin wellness, includes a first surfactant in combination with aloe vera. The first surfactant includes a compound selected from ethoxylated hydrogenated fatty oils, monosaccharides, monosaccharide derivatives, polysaccharides, polysaccharide derivatives, and combinations thereof. Other ingredients can also be added. The composition can be applied as an aqueous emulsion to a substrate such as a nonwoven web, to provide enhanced wettability combined with skin enhancement to the wearer.

Abstract: An absorbent article having a bodyside liner includes a lotion formulation on the outer bodyfacing surface thereof. The lotion formulation comprises from about 5 to about 95 weight percent of an emollient, from about 5 to about 95 weight percent of a wax, and, optionally, from about 0.1 to about 25 weight percent of a viscosity enhancer. The lotion formulation has a reduced level of migration which leads to improved transfer to the skin. The lotion formulation acts as a lubricant to reduce the abrasion of the skin caused by the liner and also transfers to the skin to provide improved skin health.

Abstract: A stringer of decorative lights comprising of a parallel wired primary and secondary light stringer. Each decorative light stringer includes a plurality of neon lamp assemblies having a step-down transformer. Each lamp socket typically includes a rotary safety disc. The secondary light stringer has a lamp socket compatible male plug. This lamp socket compatible male plug is used to connect this secondary light stringer to any lamp socket of the primary light stringer. Each lamp typically includes an insulated lamp base for receiving lamp, and a plurality of electrical contacts depending from the lamp base and connected to the lamp. A quick release mounting method for a bayonet lamp is also disclosed.

Abstract: A 3-dimension thermoformed bicomponent fiber nonwoven material comprising a lofty bicomponent material layer forming a plurality of peaks separated from one another by channels and having a basis weight in the range of about 0.5 to 7.0 ounces per square yard. The bicomponent material layer comprises a structural component and a heat activatable adhesive component suitable for thermoforming. Also disclosed are various configurations of this material suitable for use in absorbent personal care articles such as sanitary napkins, disposable diapers, incontinent-care pads and the like.

Abstract: A portable game cabinet is especially useful for shooting darts out of doors. The cabinet includes a target carrying case supported by adjustable and telescoping legs which permit the player to set up the target board on uneven surfaces. The legs are removeable from the case and are conveniently stored therein. The case is constructed so as to hold playing equipment in addition to the target board, and the case is closeable by doors to enclose the playing equipment and target board. The cabinet includes convenient means for setting a shooting line without the player having to make any measurements. The target board is adjustable between two playing heights by completely telescoping or extending one section of each leg. A safety net is raised above the cabinet to catch darts which miss the target by a wide margin.

Abstract: The invention relates to a ball-point writing instrument capable of writing with an intense colored or black line which is easily visible and readable and as permanent and eventually non-erasable as the best customary ball-pen ink traces, but which, in addition, is easily erasable by mechanical means for an initial period of about two to four hours as a normal graphite pencil trace, without the use of bleaches or chemicals. These properties are attained by the provision of a novel ink composition containing stated rubbers and volatile solvents which control erasability.

Abstract: A motor controller for use in railway-crossing signal-gate mechanisms is provided herein. The controller is of a cam type which includes a cam assembly having a movable cam insert that cooperates with a cam follower and switch assembly. The switch controls the gate arm raising motor. The cam insert and cam follower are arranged such that when the gate arm approaches the upright position the cam insert slides quickly or snaps to a position, which permits the switch contacts to open quickly, thereby minimizing arcing between the switch contacts. Moreover, with the cam insert in this position, oscillation of the gate arm about the upright position, which is caused by the gate arm striking the arm stops and bouncing back, is minimized.
