Patent number: 11407357Abstract: A communication system for a vehicle comprises a mechanism for sensing a braking of the vehicle and a control device for sending a signal to a headlight activation circuit to modulate the vehicle's headlights based upon the braking of the vehicle. In particular, a headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated based upon an application of one or both of a front brake and a rear brake. The headlight activation circuit is able to modulate the headlight between an on position and an off position or modulate the headlight between a high beam position and a low beam position. Consequently, the vehicle is better seen as it approaches likely congestion areas such as intersections and slowing or stopped traffic and attempts to enter traffic.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2019Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: Vision Works IP CorporationInventor: Fritz Braunberger

Patent number: 11173976Abstract: A communication system for a vehicle comprises a mechanism for sensing a change in speed of the vehicle and a control device for sending a signal to a headlight activation circuit to modulate the vehicle's headlights based upon the change in speed. In particular, a headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated as the vehicle reduces speed and/or is decelerating as it approaches an intersection. Additionally, the headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated as the vehicle accelerates from a stopped position or reaches a certain traveling speed. The headlight activation circuit is able to modulate the headlight between an on position and an off position or modulate the headlight between a high beam position and a low beam position. Consequently, the vehicle is better seen as it approaches likely congestion areas such as intersections and slowing or stopped traffic and attempts to enter traffic.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2018Date of Patent: November 16, 2021Assignee: VisionWorks IP CorporationInventors: Fritz Braunberger, Beau M. Patent number: 10410520Abstract: A communication system comprises a pointable range finder to calculate a distance between the vehicle and an object, a recorder for recording a status of the vehicle and a control device. The range finder sends a signal to the control device corresponding to the vehicle's distance from the object and the control device operates the recorder in a manner dependent upon the signal from the range finder. The recorder is able to record the event if the vehicle is an unsafe distance from the object. The unsafe distance is able to be a programmed distance. In some embodiments, the unsafe distance increases with an increase in speed of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the unsafe distance is determined by a programmable constant. In these embodiments, the unsafe distance is determined according to a speed of the vehicle, the vehicle's distance from an object and a pre-defined safe zone threshold value.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2017Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Vision Works IP CorporationInventors: Fritz Braunberger, Beau M. Publication number: 20190251131Abstract: An electronically readable device and system is incorporated within and/or attached to an object to validate and/or authenticate the object. Upon activation of the device one or more codes encoded within the device are revealed and are able to be scanned by an electronic device. The electronically readable code changes, such that for each period of time the code is different than a previous period and only the database knows in advance what the code should be for a given period. The scanned code is uploaded to the database where it is compared to a stored code to verify that the object is authentic.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 29, 2019Publication date: August 15, 2019Inventor: Fritz Braunberger

Publication number: 20190243313Abstract: Electrochemical indicators are configured to indicate a variable such as time and/or a temperature excursion. In some embodiments, the electrochemical indicators comprise an anode layer and a cathode layer which contact an electrolyte to activate each indicator. In some embodiments, the electrochemical indicator comprises an electrically isolated RFID chip and an RFID antenna which are placed in electrical communication in response to the external variable. The completed RFID tag may then be read by an RFID reader. A completed RFID tag may also be incorporated within the electrochemical indicators comprising an anode layer and a cathode layer and where the RFID tag is unshielded and becomes readable as the indicator expires.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 16, 2019Publication date: August 8, 2019Inventor: Fritz Braunberger

Publication number: 20190218114Abstract: A non-chemical sanitation system for a body of water comprises a floating base, an internal hydro-electric power generator, and one or more sanitizing mechanisms electrically powered by the hydro-electric power generator, where the hydro-electric power generator derives its energy from water pressure produced by a pool pump. In some embodiments, the one or more non-chemical sanitizing mechanisms comprise one or more ultraviolet LED lights. In some embodiments, the one or more non-chemical sanitizing mechanisms comprise one or more ionizers. In some embodiments, the system is connected to a filter pipe and filter of a pool and the hydro-electric power generator is placed within the path of water flowing to the pool filter in order to generate power and power the one or more sanitizing mechanisms.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2019Publication date: July 18, 2019Inventor: Fritz Braunberger
