  • Patent number: 7079065
Abstract: The present invention describes a circuit and driving method for a digital-to-analog converter to convert an (m+n) bits digital signal to an analog signal. First, the (m+n) bits digital signal is separated into a first set of m first bits and a second set of n second bits. Then, according to the first set of m first bits, a reference voltage range is determined from a plurality of reference voltages. Finally, according to the second set of n second bits, a voltage is determined from the reference voltage range.

  • Publication number: 20060111236
Abstract: A process of a catalytic combustion is disclosed. The process can be started at a cold temperature and then raised to a desired high temperature in a very short time by employing a noble metal catalyst dispersed on a supporting material. Moreover, a method for dispersing a noble metal catalyst used in the catalytic combustion is also disclosed for increasing a specific surface area of the catalyst so as to facilitate the catalytic combustion. Furthermore, a substance including a promoter dispersing a metal catalyst therewith, and a supporting material supporting the promoter with the metal catalyst is also disclosed, so that a contact surface area of the metal catalyst can be increased, thereby the catalytic combustion can be initiated within a very short period.

  • Patent number: 7048865
Abstract: A method for removing particles from a high pressure flow stream entails flowing the high pressure flow stream into an inlet of a high pressure trap and flowing the flow stream from the inlet into a tube in the high pressure trap. The tube is adapted to accelerate the flow stream. The flow stream leaves the tube and de-accelerates as the stream flows into a chamber. The method continues by contacting the flow stream with a plate wound helically around an outside surface of the tube. The plate creates a cyclonic effect with the flow stream to remove particles from the flow stream. The particles are collected in a reservoir. The remaining particles are removed by flowing the flow stream towards a side outlet over the plate. The methods end by collecting the remaining particles in a reservoir forming collected particles and dumping the collected particles from the reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20060082906
Abstract: A projector structure including a main body in which two brackets are fixed. Each bracket has a rest recess. One of the brackets has a panel on which a motor and a driving gear are mounted. A cover is detachably disposed on outer face of the main body. A pair of grasping arms inward extends from inner side of the cover for detaining a reel of a film in the rest recesses. A first and a second rotary discs with different pictures are fixedly fitted on the reel of the film. The film has a driven gear engaged with the driving gear. When driven, the first and second rotary discs are rotated in reverse directions, whereby the pictures of the rotary discs interflow to present a special visual effect. The projector structure further includes a rearward displaceable push section for pushing the film and making the reel of the film leave the brackets for replacing the film.

  • Patent number: 7001600
Abstract: The infusion of TIL586 along with interleukin-2 (IL-2) into the autologous patient with metastatic melanoma resulted in the objective regression of tumor. A gene encoding a tumor antigen recognized by TIL586 was previously isolated and shown to encode gp75 or TRP-1. The present invention relates to the identification of a second tumor antigen recognized by a HLA-A31 restricted CTL clone derived from the TIL586 cell line. This antigen derived from the TRP-2 protein tumor antigen and peptides thereof are capable of sensitizing target cells for lysis by a CTL clone at 1 nM peptide concentration. Modified peptides were also recognized by the CTL clone.

  • Patent number: 6991600
Abstract: A male sexual aid is made of soft and elastomeric material such as rubber, silicone rubber, or latex. The device is composed of a hollow tube and two rings arranged on two lateral sides thereof. The hollow tube (tubular cone body) has only one opening for accommodating a micro-vibrator or LED capsule. The two rings include a testis ring and a penis ring. In usage, the two rings respectively embrace the base of the testis and penis in parallel or crosswise so that the erected penis extends and lasts longer. Moreover, the hollow tube holds tightly on the top of the base of the penis so that the device stimulates or vibrates the clitoris of females for increasing sexual pleasure during intercourse.

  • Publication number: 20050275646
Abstract: A driving system and a driving method for motion pictures are described, using an input, a black image insertion module, an advanced overdrive module, and a partial frame rate control module. The input receives a first frame and a second frame in order. The black image insertion module inserts a single fixed gray level frame between the first frame and the second frame. The advanced overdrive module boosts the second frame to (n+a) bits and transfers the same to the overdrive image, in which the first frame and the second frame are n bits. The partial frame rate control module smoothes the overdrive image and transfers the same to an output image to refresh the pixels from the single fixed gray level frame to the second frame.
