  • Publication number: 20070012786
Abstract: An IC card is provided into which information can be written without requiring a writer. The IC card (1) includes an IC chip (3), an antenna (4), and a plurality of circuits (5), which are built into a card main body (2), terminals (6, 7) connected to the extremity of each of the circuits (5), and a conductive sticker (8) affixed to the surface of the card main body (2) and providing continuity between the terminals (6, 7). Among a plurality of the conductive stickers (8), by peeling off a particular conductive sticker (8), continuity of the circuit (5) corresponding to the peeled conductive sticker (8) is broken, and since the IC chip (3) transmits a signal corresponding to the continuity/discontinuity states of the plurality of circuits (5) to a reader, information can be written without requiring a special writer by simply peeling off the conductive sticker (8), thus greatly improving the convenience.

  • Patent number: 7098904
Abstract: A display control circuit (100) that may have a reduced power consumption has been disclosed. A display control (100) may include a plurality of output cells (3-1 to 3-N). Each output cell may include an amplifying circuit (35) for driving an output terminal (PS) to essentially a gray level voltage according to a display data (DIN). Amplifying circuit (35) may include a dead zone in which an output may be a high impedance when the output terminal is substantially the gray level voltage. An amplifying circuit (21) may be included to provide a drive for the output terminal (PS) in the vicinity of the gray level voltage. Amplifying circuit (21) may not include the dead zone. In this way, by providing the large drive by amplifying circuit (35) and a smaller drive strength by amplifying circuit (21), current consumption may be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050140633
Abstract: In a method for driving a common inversion type liquid crystal display apparatus including a plurality of signal lines, a plurality of scan lines, a common electrode, and a plurality of pixel units, a common voltage applied to the common electrode is inverted for scan line. Also, digital video signals each including a plurality of digital color signals are time-divisionally received while one of the scan lines is selected. Further, a sequence of the digital video signals including the digital color signals is changed for every two consecutive frames to time-divisionally generate an output sequence of analog video signals including analog color signals, so that each of the analog color signals is placed exclusively at predetermined time slots of the output sequence. Additionally, the output sequence of the analog video signals including the analog color signals are time-divisionally supplied to the signal lines so that the analog color signals are supplied to their corresponding signal lines.

  • Patent number: 6821639
Abstract: A wide sheet formed of a metal foil is wound a plurality of times around outer peripheral surfaces of four honeycomb matrices arranged in series to form an intermediate tube. As a result, a subassembly is formed. A brazing filler material is wound around an outer peripheral surface of the subassembly at an end portion thereof. The subassembly is inserted into an outer tube. The outer tube is caulked to reduce an outer diameter thereof. Then, heat processing is performed in vacuum to diffusion bond a corrugated sheet and a flat sheet, which form the honeycomb matrices, and the wide sheet of the intermediate tube to each other. The intermediate tube and the outer tube are brazed to each other. Thus, a metal substrate for carrying a catalyst is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20040056868
Abstract: Each gamma characteristic adjusting unit in a gamma correcting circuit selects a reference voltage from basic voltages generated by a basic voltage generating circuit based on correction adjustment data and selects a reference-voltage output terminal from reference-voltage output terminal candidates of a gamma correction resistor circuit as a target from which the reference voltage is to be output. As double adjustments based on such two-stage selection are possible, the adjustment range for the gamma characteristic can be made wider.
