  • Patent number: 10896805
Abstract: A method for electron beam lithography. The method may comprise fabricating a multi-layer mask and interposing the multi-layer mask between an electron beam and an energy-sensitive layer to thereby expose the energy-sensitive layer to the electron beam through the mask. Fabricating the multi-layer mask may comprises providing a first mask layer fabricated from a first mask material (e.g. silicon nitride) which defines one or more feature apertures corresponding to features of interest and coating an electron-energy-reducing material (e.g. gold) onto the first mask layer to thereby provide a second mask layer.

  • Publication number: 20200410712
Abstract: A machine vision-based method and system for measuring 3D pose of a part or subassembly of parts having an unknown pose are disclosed. A number of different applications of the method and system are disclosed including applications which utilize a reprogrammable industrial automation machine such as a robot. The method includes providing a reference cloud of 3D voxels which represent a reference surface of a reference part or subassembly having a known reference pose. Using at least one 2D/3D hybrid sensor, a sample cloud of 3D voxels which represent a corresponding surface of a sample part or subassembly of the same type as the reference part or subassembly is acquired. The sample part or subassembly has an actual pose different from the reference pose. The voxels of the sample and reference clouds are processed utilizing a matching algorithm to determine the pose of the sample part or subassembly.

  • Patent number: 10876534
Abstract: A combined pump and motor has a stator mounted for non-rotation in a housing. The stator has windings that create an electromagnetic field in the stator cavity when powered. An upper diffuser and a lower diffuser are mounted for non-rotation in the stator cavity. Annular clearances exist between the upper diffuser and the inner diameter of the stator and between the lower diffuser and the inner diameter of the stator. An impeller between the lower diffuser and the upper diffuser has an array of magnets circumferentially mounted around the impeller that impart rotation to the impeller in response to the electromagnetic field in the stator cavity. The array of magnets has at least one end portion extending into one of the upper and lower diffuser annular clearances.

  • Publication number: 20200402046
Abstract: This invention discloses a system and methods for defeating a so-called man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack. An electronic instruction to collect specified distinctive identifiers from a local/mobile computing device seeking access to a first network website, is generated by said first network website and that electronic instruction is assigned a unique onetime identification token. Said electronic instruction with said unique onetime identification token is transmitted by said first network website to said local/mobile computing device. Said unique onetime identification token is also maintained in a database of unique onetime identification tokens resident on said first network website. In addition, said unique onetime identification token is sent to a secondary network website, where it is also stored in a database of unique onetime identification tokens. Said unique onetime identification token may also contain a time expiration value which defines the validity period for said unique transaction identifier.

  • Publication number: 20200340481
Abstract: A well fluid pump has a housing with a stator having a stack of discs through which windings extend. First and second stage modules in a bore of the stator have rotating impellers and non-rotating diffusers. Magnets mounted in each of the stage modules rotate the impellers in response to electromagnetic fields generated by the windings. Anti-rotation members join adjacent ones of the impellers together in each of the stage modules for rotation in unison. A bearing assembly between the first and second stage modules has a rotatable inner portion in engagement with the impellers in the first and second stage modules for causing them to rotate in unison. The bearing assembly has a non-rotating outer portion in engagement with the stator to prevent rotation.
