  • Patent number: 11159413
Abstract: System and method for identifying nodes with packet loss in a wireless communication network. The method comprises a central probe server—establishing a TWAMP session with a plurality of nodes. The central probe server probes the plurality of nodes for packet loss for a time duration ?T and categorizes each of the plurality of nodes as one of violator node and non-violator node. A sectionalisation module retrieves a topology of the at least one violator node. The central probe server probes at least one neighboring node of the at least one violator node for packet loss for the time duration ?T. The sectionalisation module identifies the at least one violator node as one of a silo node and a daisy chain node based on the probe of the at least one neighboring node.

  • Patent number: 11110419
Abstract: A system and method are directed toward the synthesis of polymeric capsules using a phase inversion process by extrusion of polymeric droplets through a syringe-needle assembly or an iris-shutter mechanism. The polymeric solution may be prepared by dissolving PAN (polyacrylonitrile) polymer in DMF (Dimethyl Formamide) solvent at high temperature through continuous stirring. Following preparation of the capsules, further treatment was initiated using triethylamine in gelation bath to make the final product an efficient removal agent of water hardness.

  • Patent number: 11106669
Abstract: In one aspect, a method is described that includes receiving, at a data warehouse, a query associated with a view for a report being presented at a client device user interface; processing, by the data warehouse, the query to identify data responsive to the query; evaluating the identified responsive data to determine whether there is corresponding metadata indicating a portion of the identified responsive data includes blocked natural persons data; when the blocked natural persons data is determined, evaluating the corresponding metadata to determine whether the block is a total block or a partial block; generating, based on the evaluated metadata, a result set including a predetermined value to mask the blocked natural persons data; and providing the generated result set including the predetermined result set to a server handling the view. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210248468
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for classifying time series image data. Aspects of the invention include encoding motion information from video frames in an eccentricity map. An eccentricity map is essentially a static image that aggregates apparent motion of objects, surfaces, and edges, from a plurality of video frames. In general, eccentricity reflects how different a data point is from the past readings of the same set of variables. Neural networks can be trained to detect and classify actions in videos from eccentricity maps. Eccentricity maps can be provided to a neural network as input. Output from the neural network can indicate if detected motion in a video is or is not classified as an action, such as, for example, a hand gesture.

  • Publication number: 20210216550
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for optimal query scheduling for resource utilization option. In an embodiment of the invention, a process for optimal query scheduling includes receiving in an information retrieval data processing system at a contemporaneous time, a request for deferred query execution of a specified query to a future time after the contemporaneous time. The method additionally includes determining a frequency of change of data corresponding to a field referenced in the specified query. Then, on condition that the frequency of change is below a threshold value, an intermediate time prior to the future time but after the contemporaneous time can be identified and the specified query scheduled for execution at the intermediate time instead of the future time. But, otherwise the specified query can be scheduled at the future time as originally requested.

  • Publication number: 20210216547
Abstract: A process for optimal query scheduling includes receiving in an information retrieval data processing system, a request to accelerate query execution of a specified query to a time prior to a scheduled time. A specific field corresponding to data in a database is then identified in the query and a freshness of data requirement for the specific field retrieved along with a frequency of change the data corresponding to the specific field. Then, if execution of the specific query at the time prior to the scheduled time instead of the scheduled time is determined not to violate the freshness of data requirement based upon the frequency of change of the data corresponding of the specific field, the specific query is scheduled for execution at the time prior to the scheduled time. But otherwise, the scheduled time may be maintained for executing the specific query.

  • Publication number: 20210182161
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments represent a dynamic on-demand approach to configuring destination storage for bare metal restore (BMR) operations without operator intervention, including destination storage that is smaller than source storage devices. The illustrative operations rely on system state information collected concurrently with or shortly after source data is backed up, thereby capturing current actual storage metrics for the source data. The illustrative embodiments further rely on enhanced data agent components to collect and restore system state information as well as to restore backup data, thereby streamlining the configurations needed for the BMR operation to proceed. Additional business logic matches source mount points with suitable smaller destination storage resources and ensures that the BMR operation successfully completes with diverse and/or smaller storage destinations.
