  • Publication number: 20210046651
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to methods and systems for automatically determining a resource layout. An example embodiment begins by obtaining data indicating a position and a task performed by each resource of a plurality of resources. Then, for each resource of the plurality, a respective zone on a plane of interest occupied by the resource is automatically determined using the obtained data indicating the position and the task performed by the resource. In turn, determined zones of two or more resources of the plurality of resources are automatically combined into a combined zone based upon criteria and a file, e.g., a CAD/CAM file, indicating a layout of the plurality of resources on the plane of interest is automatically created based upon the determined zones and the combined zone.

  • Publication number: 20210014333
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates mobility of user applications across cloud infrastructures. In one embodiment, a mobility server maintains a setup data which indicates that a user application is to be operative based on a specific set of application components when the user application is to be hosted on a cloud infrastructure. Upon receiving a request to move the user application currently executing in a source cloud infrastructure to the cloud infrastructure, mobility server provisions the specific set of application components in the cloud infrastructure in view of the setup data and then executes the user application in the cloud infrastructure based on the specific set of application components.

  • Publication number: 20200412128
Abstract: A first converter station is part of a high voltage direct current transmission system that includes a DC transmission link connected to the first converter station a second converter station. A DC current and a DC voltage of the DC transmission link are sensed by the first converter station. It is determined that the sensed DC current is equal to or larger than a threshold current value, that the sensed DC current is equal to or larger than the threshold current value, and that at least a partial recovery of the sensed DC voltage has occurred. On the basis that it is determined that the at least a partial recovery of the sensed DC voltage has occurred, it is determined that a phase-to-ground fault has occurred. In response to determining that a phase-to-ground fault has occurred, a power delivered by the first converter station can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20200374209
Abstract: System and method for identifying nodes with packet loss in a wireless communication network. The method comprises a central probe server—establishing a TWAMP session with a plurality of nodes. The central probe server probes the plurality of nodes for packet loss for a time duration ?T and categorizes each of the plurality of nodes as one of violator node and non-violator node. A sectionalisation module retrieves a topology of the at least one violator node. The central probe server probes at least one neighboring node of the at least one violator node for packet loss for the time duration ?T. The sectionalisation module identifies the at least one violator node as one of a silo node and a daisy chain node based on the probe of the at least one neighboring node.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing Web advertisements to online users is disclosed. A balanced set of negative data points and positive data points is derived from a log of Ad impressions and used to train a classifier. In response to an Ad request signal, a plurality of Ads is retrieved from a database. The Ad request signal indicates a request to provide an Ad for a slot available on a Web page associated with a website. The signal is provided in relation to an access of the Web page by an online user and includes information related to the online user. A choice of an Ad is predicted based on the information related to the online user and the plurality of Ads. Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer programmable products are described for automated data source join proposals based on process relations. Data encapsulating a first data source and one or more data fields within the first data source is received. A data object model of the first data source is generated based on the one or more fields. A plurality of data sources are searched for the one or more data fields to identify a second data source having one or more related fields. A technical relationship is defined between the first data source and the second data source based on the one or more data fields. A join condition is determined between the first data source and the second data source based on the defined technical relationship. The join condition is provided for confirmation of joining the one or more fields of the first data source and the second data source.

  • Publication number: 20200065663
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for classifying time series image data. Aspects of the invention include encoding motion information from video frames in an eccentricity map. An eccentricity map is essentially a static image that aggregates apparent motion of objects, surfaces, and edges, from a plurality of video frames. In general, eccentricity reflects how different a data point is from the past readings of the same set of variables. Neural networks can be trained to detect and classify actions in videos from eccentricity maps. Eccentricity maps can be provided to a neural network as input. Output from the neural network can indicate if detected motion in a video is or is not classified as an action, such as, for example, a hand gesture.
