  • Patent number: 11902314
Abstract: A device may receive security data identifying assets of an entity, security issues associated with the assets, and objectives associated with the assets and may utilize a data model to generate, based on the security data, asset related data identifying mapped sets of security data. The device may process a first portion of the asset related data, with a first model, to calculate an asset risk likelihood score for an asset of the assets and may process a second portion of the asset related data, with a second model, to calculate an asset criticality score for the asset. The device may process a third portion of the asset related data, with a third model, to calculate an asset control effectiveness score for the asset and may combine the scores to generate a security risk score for the asset. The device may provide the security risk score for display.

  • Patent number: 11899554
Abstract: The detection of utilized virtual machines through usage pattern analysis is described. In one example, a computing device can collect utilization metrics from a virtual machine over time. The utilization metrics can be related to one or more processing usage, disk usage, network usage, and memory usage metrics, among others. The utilization metrics can be used to determine a number of clusters, and the clusters can be used to organize the utilization metrics into groups. Depending upon the number or overall percentage of the utilization metrics assigned to individual ones of the plurality of clusters, it is possible to determine whether or not the virtual machine is a utilized or an idle virtual machine. Once identified, utilized virtual machines can be migrated in some cases. Idle virtual machines can be shut down to conserve processing resources and costs in some cases.

  • Patent number: 11900056
Abstract: Rewriting text in the writing style of a target author is described. A stylistic rewriting system receives input text and an indication of the target author. The system trains a language model to understand the target author's writing style using a corpus of text associated with the target author. The language model may be transformer-based, and is first trained on a different corpus of text associated with a range of different authors to understand linguistic nuances of a particular language. Copies of the language model are then cascaded into an encoder-decoder framework, which is further trained using a masked language modeling objective and a noisy version of the target author corpus. After training, the encoder-decoder framework of the trained language model automatically rewrites input text in the writing style of the target author and outputs the rewritten text as stylized text.

  • Patent number: 11902106
Abstract: A client-isolation internal/external fabric LCS provisioning system includes an orchestrator device coupled to a client device via an external fabric, and coupled to resource devices via an internal fabric that is not accessible to the client device via the external fabric. The orchestrator device configures the resource devices to communicate with each other in a manner that satisfies a workload intent for a workload requested by the client device, and presents an LCS provided using the configured resource devices to the client device via the external fabric. When the orchestrator device receives LCS communication(s) directed to the LCS from the client device via the external fabric, it provides instruction(s) to at least one of the resource devices via the internal fabric that are based on the LCS communication and that are configured to cause the at least one of the resource devices to perform function(s) for the LCS.

  • Publication number: 20240046590
Abstract: A mixed reality (MR) simulation system includes a console and a head mounted device (HMD). The MR system captures stereoscopic images from a real-world environment using outward-facing stereoscopic cameras mounted to the HMD. The MR system preprocesses the stereoscopic images to maximize contrast and then extracts a set of features from those images, including edges or corners, among others. For each feature, the MR system generates one or more two-dimensional (2D) polylines. Then, the MR system triangulates between 2D polylines found in right side images and corresponding 2D polylines found in left side images to generate a set of 3D polylines. The MR system interpolates between 3D vertices included in the 3D polylines or extrapolates additional 3D vertices, thereby generating a geometric reconstruction of the real-world environment. The MR system may map textures derived from the real-world environment onto the geometric representation faster than the geometric reconstruction is updated.

  • Publication number: 20240045741
Abstract: A three-tiered content notification system that trifurcates the content notification system into a message consumption component, a message filtering component, and a message delivery component. The message queue comprises content published to an event application programming interface (“API”) for the content notification system. By generating this queue of available content, the message filtering component may apply a batch filter on the available content as opposed to conventional per item filtering. During batch filtering, filtering criteria may be applied to all content currently in the queue. The system may rank this content such that only the highest priority and/or relevance ranking may remain in the batch. Content that is not filtered out by the system may then be sent to the message delivery component. At the message delivery component, the system may select delivery channels for the remaining content.

  • Publication number: 20240049170
Abstract: A method performed by a function node for handling a voice call from a first User Equipment (UE) to be received by a second UE in a communications network. The function node is associated with the second UE. The function node receives an invite message that relates to an initiation of the voice call from the first UE to the second UE and comprises one or more parameters associated with the second UE and a time stamp of the initiating of the voice call. The function node retrieves location data from a home server associated with the second UE, based on the one or more parameters and the time stamp, which location data indicates a geographical location of the second UE. The function node predicts a reason why the second UE cannot receive the voice call, based on the location data.

  • Publication number: 20240045743
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data processing are described. A federation management service may receive a user selection of a first data source and a second data source via a user interface of the federation management service. The first data source and the second data source may be associated with different data source types. The federation management service may extract schema information from the first data source and the second data source by using source extensions to parse the first data source and the second data source. The federation management service may generate a federated data model by using the schema information to translate the first data source and the second data source into intermediate data sources with a common feature set. Accordingly, the federation management service may generate a target data schema for a federated application programming interface (API) based on the federated data model.

  • Patent number: 11893358
Abstract: For a seamless and robust artificial intelligence-based assistant experience, an intent-based query and response router has been designed to operate as an intelligent layer between a user and multiple backend services that may respond to one or more queries over the course of a conversation with the user. The query router interacts with an intent classification service to obtain an intent classification for a prompt that is based on a user query. The query router uses the intent classification, which is used as an identifier of a backend service, to route the user query to an appropriate one (or more) of the backend services. When a response is detected, the query router determines a corresponding conversation and provides the response for the conversation.
