  • Patent number: 11582275
Abstract: An online meeting system begins the process of connecting a user to an online meeting when the user enters a prejoin dialog for choosing meeting settings, rather than waiting until the user chooses to actually join the meeting after entering settings. Starting the meeting connection process at this time allows a shorter perceived connection time to the meeting and thus reduces user frustration with the meeting system.

  • Patent number: 11580760
Abstract: Disclosed is an effective domain name defense solution in which a domain name string may be provided to or obtained by a computer embodying a visual domain analyzer. The domain name string may be rendered or otherwise converted to an image. An optical character recognition function may be applied to the image to read out a text string which can then be compared with a protected domain name to determine whether the text string generated by the optical character recognition function from the image converted from the domain name string is similar to or matches the protected domain name. This visual domain analysis can be dynamically applied in an online process or proactively applied in an offline process to hundreds of millions of domain names.

The second machine learning network can be configured to provide an output responsive to receiving a 2-D input image. A comparator receives the outputs from the first and second machine learning networks based on a particular 2-D image. The comparator compares the output of the first trained machine learning network with the output of the second machine learning network. A feedback mechanism is operative to alter the second machine learning network based at least in part on the output of the comparator.

  • Publication number: 20230044483
Abstract: A method of decomposing a cured aromatic epoxy resin uses a molten salt bath at less than about 350° C. The molten salt bath includes a plurality of alkali metal hydroxides. The cured aromatic epoxy resin can be in intimate physical contact with a metal or alloy. The cured aromatic epoxy resin can be patterned by a lithographic method. The lithographic method can be multibeam interference lithography to form a three-dimensional photonic crystal template on a conductive substrate for electrodeposition of metal. Contacting the three-dimensional photonic crystal template with the electrodeposited metal with the molten salt bath can form a metal matrix device displaying a periodic pattern that is the inverse of the periodic pattern of the decomposed three-dimensional photonic crystal template.

  • Publication number: 20230042586
Abstract: A three-dimensional photonic crystal template on a reflective substrate displays a periodic patterned from multibeam interference lithography with constructive volumes of a cured photoresist composition and destructive volumes that are voids free of mass containing defects and where the reflective substrate is conductive. A method to generate the three-dimensional photonic crystal template includes using at least four laser beams of unequal intensity, oriented such that a dose of light controlled by the irradiation time generates the periodic pattern with a small dose, where the light reflected from the substrate is insufficient to activate a threshold quantity of photoinitiator in the destructive volumes for the formation of any anomalous condensed matter in the intended void volume.
