    Abstract: An inner conductor contact for connecting one end of a braided inner conductor of a coaxial cable with one end of an inner conductor of a coaxial plug, with the inner cable conductor enclosing a core which is retracted relative to the end of the inner cable conductor, includes a support element insertable in the inner cable conductor and having the same diameter as the core. The support element is adapted for connection with the core at the core-near side thereof via a bolt and with the inner plug conductor at the core-distant side thereof by means of a prolongation which is connected to the support element via a conical shoulder and thus is of smaller diameter than the support element. The part of the inner cable conductor extending along the shoulder and prolongation is surrounded by a metal bushing which receives the respective end of the inner plug conductor to provide the electric connection between the inner cable conductor and the inner plug conductor.

    Abstract: A coaxial cable fitting includes a metal bush receiving a cable end of a coaxial cable and adapted for making electric contact with the outer conductor of the coaxial cable, a contact clamp placed over the cable end of the coaxial cable and defining an annular end face about which a section of the outer conductor is bent outwardly and a screw element threadably engageable with the metal bush for urging the contact clamp against the metal bush to thereby press the outwardly bent section of the outer conductor against a radial shoulder of the metal bush wherein the contact clamp is securely received against rotation in the metal bush at least in its end position.

In order to attain accurate centering of the plug within the socket and an even contacting over the circumference, the forward portion of the plug is surrounded by a contact cap which has a base fixedly connected to the plug and a wall so shaped to impart a resiliency in radial direction and with an outer diameter which is at its greatest value at or in the area of the edge of the contact cap in vicinity of the annular shoulder.

The locking apparatus includes lever locks arranged at the narrow sides of the housing at a level of the flange socket. Each lever lock comprises an approximate L-shaped hook with a short leg grasping behind a continuous collar of the flange socket in locking position of the hook and with a long leg which is swingably mounted and guided for longitudinal displacement. The long leg of the hook is articulated to one arm of a two-armed locking lever which is pivoted to a support.

    Abstract: A sealed cable connector includes a plug or coupler with a sleeve extending over the cable end and surrounding a strain relief ring, contoured annular seal and a thrust collar. The seal includes an outer ring and an inner ring which are connected with each other by a radial bridge. During assembly, the thrust collar and the strain relief ring cooperate with each other in such a manner that upon axial displacement of the thrust collar toward the strain relief ring by means of a screw plug turned into the sleeve, the bridge becomes sheared off thereby compressing the inner and outer rings within the respective inner and outer spaces between the thrust collar and the strain relief ring while at the same time the thrust collar presses the outer cable conductor against a contacting face of the sleeve.

For obtaining a high switching speed upon soft initiation and especially soft termination of the switching process, the switch drive shaft 14 is connected in a rotation-fixed manner with a switch arm 12 which is engaged by an engaging member 10 supported eccentrically by a gear 6.     Abstract: A cooled waveguide assembly includes a plurality of extruded waveguides connected to each other via their respective flanged portion. Each waveguide has an outer profile corresponding to the outer dimensions of the flange portion which is created by suitably fabricating the end sections of each waveguide. The flange portion is provided with a plurality of boreholes which are in alignment with pockets to allow fasteners to be inserted therein so as to connect adjoining waveguides. Integrated in the wall of each waveguide are cooling channels which are arranged in such a manner that they do not intersect with the boreholes. The cooling channels and the interior of the waveguides are sealed at the respective joints by a profiled sealing element.

    Abstract: A 3dB directional coupler includes a housing accommodating two spaced apart coupling lines connecting the inner conductors of coaxial lines and coupled to each other via a coupling aperture in a partition wall which extends in said housing. The housing is thus divided into two housing parts whose cross section is defined by a long side and a short side the difference of which substantially corresponds to the width of each coupling line while the cross sectional circumference of each coupling line corresponds essentially to the circumference of the inner conductors. Outside the coupling path, the coupling lines are provided with homogenous sections of sufficient length to reduce field inhomogeneities before the coupling path.
