The online service provider allows users to make purchases using credits. The online service provider authorizes purchases made by the user based on credits available for the user or based on a history of payments from the user. The online service provider sends an invoice based on the purchases to the payment provider. The payment provider can be any system that can invoke the interface provided by the online service provider. For example, the payment provider can be a financial institution, another user, or a business that provides credits to the user for performing actions that benefit the business.

  • Publication number: 20190137219
Abstract: Various techniques are described herein for controlling autonomous and semi-autonomous motorized weapons systems. In various embodiments, semi-autonomous motorized weapons systems may perform automated target identification, selection and prioritization techniques. Dynamic target tracking may be performed, for both primary and secondary targets, in cases of stationary and moving targets and weapon systems. A motorized weapon system then may be actuated automatically toward a firing solution target point, during which the operator-controlled firing mechanism may be enabled or disabled based on the projected point of impact of the weapon in comparison to a determined boundary area associated with the target.

  • Publication number: 20180336395
Abstract: Embodiments predict biochemical recurrence (BCR) or metastasis by accessing a set of images of a region of tissue demonstrating cancerous pathology, including a tumor region and a tumor adjacent benign (TAB) region, the set of images including a first stain type image, and a second stain type image; segmenting cellular nuclei represented in the first and second image; generating a combined feature set by extracting at least one feature from each of a tumor region and TAB region represented in the first image, and a tumor region and TAB region represented in the second image, providing the combined feature set to a machine learning classifier; receiving, from the classifier, a probability that the region of tissue will experience BCR or metastasis; and generating a classification of the region of tissue as likely to experience BCR or metastasis, or unlikely to experience BCR or metastasis.

  • Patent number: 9992287
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes one or more computing devices of a proxy server, in response to receiving a message from a token reader, generating a federated session token in relation to the message and sending a request for federated access to social-networking information of a first user of a social-networking system, where the request contains the federated session token. The method also includes one or more computing devices of the social-networking system, in response to receiving the request for federated access, validating the request based at least in part on one or more configuration settings associated with the first user and establishing a federated access session with the proxy server. The method also includes one or more computing devices of the proxy server, retrieving, by the federated access session, the social-networking information of the first user from the social-networking system.

  • Patent number: 9619533
Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-object reporting in a content management system. A report type definition may define which objects are involved and how they are related. A report execution engine may generate a multi-object query language statement to translate the report type definition into query language. A query language execution engine may break the query language statement down into separate single pieces. A cost optimization engine may determine if it is cost efficient to join the objects. An indexed access execution engine may extract unique IDs of the objects and join the unique IDs to generate an index. A Lucene based search engine may be accessed according to the index, and the response is post processed to generate a multi-object report.

  • Patent number: 9591702
Abstract: LED drivers and lighting systems having a dynamically reconfigurable switching network is disclosed. The lighting system comprises a switching network which provides interconnections between LEDs or LED lamps that can dynamically reconfigure between largely parallel circuits and largely serial circuits as the instantaneous voltage of a power supply varies. When the instantaneous voltage of the power source is low, the switching network interconnects the LED lamps in a largely parallel configuration. As the instantaneous voltage increases, the switching network reconfigures and interconnects the LED lamps with increasing serial configurations. As the instantaneous voltage begins to decrease, the switching network reconfigures and interconnects the LED lamps back to a largely parallel configuration.
