  • Publication number: 20240185993
Abstract: Techniques are described that employ a multifactorial, machine-learning based system and prioritization framework for optimizing patient placement to beds at a medical facility. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented is provided that comprises receiving, by a system operatively coupled to a processor, a patient placement request requesting placement of a patient to a hospital bed of the healthcare facility, wherein the request is associated with information identifying a medical service for the patient and a bed type. The method further comprises, selecting, by the system, a placement prioritization model from a set of placement prioritization models based on the medical service and the bed type, and employing, by the system, the prioritization model and state information regarding a current state of the healthcare facility to determine a prioritization score reflective of a priority level of the patient placement request.

  • Publication number: 20240188287
Abstract: A one-time programmable (OTP) fuse includes a trench isolation; a gate metal layer over the trench isolation; and a PN junction over the gate metal layer. More particularly, the OTP fuse may include a first terminal including a highly doped n-type polysilicon layer over the trench isolation, and a second terminal including a highly doped p-type polysilicon layer over the trench isolation. The highly doped n-type polysilicon layer contacts the highly doped p-type polysilicon layer, creating a PN junction and a fuse link defined in a portion of the gate metal layer between the trench isolation and the PN junction. The gate metal layer has a uniform thickness that allows better dimension control of the fuse link to reduce fuse programming current variability.

  • Publication number: 20240188299
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for three-dimensional memory array formation techniques are described. A memory device may include a stack of materials over a substrate. The memory device may include an array of first pillars and an array of second pillars extending at least partially through the stack of materials. One or more first pillars may be excluded from one or more columns of pillars of the array first pillars. The memory device may include dielectric material in a slit extending at least partially through the stack of materials. Based on the exclusion of the one or more first pillars, the slit may have a greater width at a first portion through the stack of materials than a second portion through the stack of materials. The dielectric material located in the slit may also have a greater width at the first portion than at the second portion.

  • Publication number: 20240187329
Abstract: A LAN cable conductor validation system includes controllable relays in-line with a portion of the twisted pair wires of the Ethernet cables. By temporarily open circuiting some of the Ethernet cable twisted pairs a drop in transmission speed can be detected for an active network component. This allows the active component's MAC address to be verified at a given physical location within the cable conductor network system.

  • Publication number: 20240187213
Abstract: Various examples are provided related to a block cipher adaptation of the Galois Extension Fields (GEF) combination technique. In one example, a GEF-based block encryption includes forming an output from a PRNG into a key matrix, where the key matrix is formatted as an invertible square matrix; applying a GEF operation to the key matrix to map elements to a closed subset in a higher-order GEF space; mapping plaintext to a plaintext matrix; applying a GEF operation to the plaintext matrix to map elements to the higher-order GEF space; combining the plaintext matrix and the key matrix to produce a vector of ciphertext in the higher-order GEF space; reducing the vector to a reduced vector of ciphertext using an inverse of the GEF operation; and during the reducing, applying a ceiling operation to bijectively map elements in the reduced vector to a closed subset. Another example includes GEF-based block decryption.
