    Abstract: A remote control locking device is provided for a door of a motor vehicle, which consists of a remote transmitter outside of the motor vehicle for transmitting a radio signal. A receiver is carried within and is electrically connected to the electrical system of the motor vehicle for receiving the radio signal from the remote transmitter. A piston is electrically connected to the receiver and is mounted within a door jamb of the motor vehicle adjacent the side of the door. A dead bolt plunger is axially aligned with and projects outwardly from the piston for a relative lineal movement between extended and retracted positions upon operation of the remote transmitter, so that the dead bolt plunger can engage with the side to lock the door and disengage from the side to unlock the door.

    Abstract: An electronic oil level indicator is provided to show the amount of oil in an oil pan of an internal combustion engine which consists of a perforated housing positioned in the oil pan, so that the oil in the oil pan will enter the housing. A mechanism is connected to the housing for producing light. A fiber optic bundle has a first end connected to the housing spaced away from the light producing mechanism within the oil. A display panel is remotely located from the housing with a second end of the fiber optic bundle connected thereto. The height level of the oil will control the amount of illumination from the light producing mechanism reaching the fiber optic bundle which in turn is carried to the display panel to allow a person to visually check the oil level on the display panel.

    Abstract: An air jack assembly is provided for a motor vehicle which consists of a cylinder mounted vertically to the underside of a chassis of the motor vehicle approximate a ground engaging wheel of the motor vehicle, with the cylinder having a reciprocal piston rod extendable and retractable longitudinally therefrom. A horizontally disposed ground engagable base plate is secured to a distal end of the piston rod. A mechanism is carried by the motor vehicle, for moving the piston rod longitudinally from the cylinder, to lower the base plate to the ground and raise the chassis of the motor vehicle, so that the wheel will lift off the ground. Another mechanism is carried by the motor vehicle, for moving the piston rod longitudinally into the cylinder, to raise the base plate off the ground and lower the chassis of the motor vehicle, so that the wheel will engage the ground again.

    Abstract: A magnetic fuel tank cap is provided for closing off the filling inlet tube of a motor vehicle which consists of an externally threaded cylindrical shank, which threadably engages with the filling inlet tube of the motor vehicle. A head is secured to the shank and is larger than the shank. When the head is turned to drive the shank into the filling inlet tube, the head will seal the filling inlet tube. A magnet is on top of the head for releasably connecting the head, when inverted, to a metallic part of the motor vehicle after the shank is removed from the filling inlet tube. In other embodiments adaptors are provided to releasably connect the head of a conventional fuel tank cap to the metallic part of the motor vehicle.

    Abstract: A protection device for a boat having a rigid hull with a waterline, gunwale and a cockpit is provided. The device consists of a first inflatable bumper mounted to the rigid hull about the gunwale, which will absorb impacts to the hull when the boat is pulled next to a dock or the like. A second inflatable bumper is mounted to the rigid hull at the waterline to keep the rigid hull afloat if it becomes cracked. A mechanism is in the cockpit, for selectively inflating the first inflatable bumper and the second inflatable bumper.
