Patent number: 12546558Abstract: An adjustable finger support for an archery release includes a handle having a longitudinal axis, top and bottom portions and interior and exterior side surfaces. A pair of finger beds are configured for pivotal connection with the handle. A drive assembly connects the finger beds with the handle and displaces the finger beds relative to the handle to a desired width. The drive assembly includes a pair of brackets pivotally connected with the handle. The angle of the finger beds is further adjustable relative to the brackets, so that the finger beds are adjustable in both width and to provide variable finger support and an optimal fit for the archer to better positions a head portion of the archery release toward a target.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2024Date of Patent: February 10, 2026Assignee: Veritas 2, LLCInventors: Brent Steele, Tristan Mason, Gregory E. Summers

Publication number: 20250180330Abstract: An archery sight mounting apparatus for a bow is characterized by unique tension adjustment assemblies for an elevation carriage connected with an elevation bar and for a windage carriage connected with the elevation carriage. The tension assemblies both include spaced pairs of synthetic plastic gibs supported by surfaces of the elevation bar, elevation carriage and windage carriage and arranged internally of the mounting system. The gibs facilitate sliding movement of the elevation carriage relative to the elevation bar and of the windage carriage relative to the elevation carriage for full adjustability of an archery sight on a bow. The tension assemblies further include adjustment screws which adjust the tension applied to the gibs and thus the freedom of movement of the carriages. Both carriages include yokes which are displaceable relative to the respective carriages to adjust the tension.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 5, 2023Publication date: June 5, 2025Inventors: Tristan Mason, Gregory E. Patent number: 11698243Abstract: An elevation assembly for an archery sight includes a rail adapted for connection with a bow and having a plurality of spaced teeth extending from a surface thereof. An elevation block is mounted on the rail for reciprocal sliding movement between the ends of the rail. A pinion wheel is connected with the elevation block. The wheel includes a plurality of teeth which are configured to mesh with the pinion teeth of the rail. A knob is connected with the pinion wheel. Rotation of the knob rotates the pinion wheel to displace the wheel and the elevation block along the longitudinal axis of the rail for precise elevation adjustment of the archery sight. Pressing the knob along an axis normal to the rail longitudinal axis moves the pinion wheel along the normal axis away from the rail axis to disengage the pinion wheel teeth from the rail teeth and allow the elevation block to slide freely along the rail for quick course elevation adjustment of the sight.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2021Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Inventor: Gregory E. Patent number: 11543207Abstract: A handheld pull tension archery release includes a handle containing a finger opening having an axis arranged normal to a plane containing the handle, a ring sear assembly arranged in the handle, and a bail connected with the handle for rotation about an axis parallel to the opening axis. The bail is configured to grip a bowstring. When the ring sear assembly is actuated, a ring sear arranged in the housing rotates about the finger opening axis from a hold position engaging the bail to a release position releasing the bail to free the bowstring and fire an arrow. Rotation of the ring sear is in response to pull tension on the bowstring and actuation of a thumb trigger connected with the handle. A locking lever is connected with the handle and operable between a locking position wherein said locking lever engages said ring sear assembly to retain said ring sear assembly in the hold position and a release position wherein said locking lever is disengaged from said ring sear assembly.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2021Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Inventor: Gregory E. Summers

Patent number: 11002504Abstract: A vibration dampener for an archery bow is formed as an elastomeric member having an outer surface containing a plurality of spaced grooves which define ribs there between. Each groove has a constant depth, but the grooves toward the ends of the member are not as deep as the grooves progressing toward the center of the member. The ribs may contain spaced and aligned depressions which cooperate with the grooves to absorb vibrations from the bow in three dimensions during execution of an archery shot. Inserts are provided in each end of the dampener to stabilize the ends and to facilitate connection of the dampener with a bow stabilizer and weights.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2019Date of Patent: May 11, 2021Inventor: Gregory E.
