  • Publication number: 20230255359
Abstract: Furniture is formed from a lie surface divided into two sections and placed on a stationary frame elevated over standing surface by its supports. The frame is tilted to the ground by lengths of its supports. The upper section is attached to the frame by adjustment bolts that change elevation of the section in relation to lower section. The lower section is attached to the frame by guiding devices that let the section to move on the frame in linear and lateral directions. Heights's adjustment of upper section let the user to fit the shape of the lying surface to the shape of lumbar section of his body. User seats on lower, movable section of lying surface and rests his head and torso above waist on upper stationary section. Free movement of lower section let the lumbar part of his body to naturally decompress.

  • Publication number: 20230121283
Abstract: A system and method are capable of ensuring that one or more text strings will be able to be fully rendered in a target area of a user interface or a target area of a graphics file. The system and method determine the number of pixels of first and second reference text that fit in the target area in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, respectively, determine the number of pixels of string text in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and compare the number of pixels in the horizontal direction of the first reference text and the vertical direction of the second reference text respectively to the number of pixels in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction of the text string that is desired to be rendered in the target area to determine whether the text string will fit in the target area.

  • Publication number: 20230119331
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for utilizing directed acyclic graphs for deployment instructions. A computer-implemented method can include various operations. Instructions may be executed by a computing device to perform parses of configuration data associated with a deployment. The computing device may cause a first directed acyclic graph (DAG) to be generated, the first DAG being utilized for deploying a first resource based on the parses. A second DAG may be generated for deploying execution targets based on the parses, the second DAG specifying dependencies between execution targets of the deployment. The computing device may generate a linked list data structure based on the parses and may deploy the computing system by traversal of the linked list data structure.

  • Patent number: 11596233
Abstract: A compact recliner mechanism for use in theater seating units is provided that allows the seat to move linearly as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. The mechanism has a back bracket coupled to the seat plate and base plate with a linkage that moves a projected point representing the top of the back of the seating unit downwardly in vertical plane as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. In other aspects, the seating unit has an armrest linkage coupled between the seat plate and the back that maintains an armrest lever at a horizontal orientation. Additionally, in some aspects, the base plate of the seating unit may have an adjustment feature that limits recline of the seating unit, to accommodate theater seating with different riser dimensions, and/or legs with an adjustment feature to level the seating unit on existing theater floors.

  • Publication number: 20230048235
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for monitoring a location of a client device associated with a transportation service and generating augmented reality images for display on the client device. The systems and methods use sensor data from the client device and a device localization process to monitor the location of the client device by comparing renderings of images captured by the client device to renderings of the vicinity of the pickup location. The systems and methods determine navigation instructions from the user's current location to the pickup location and select one or more augmented reality elements associated with the navigation instructions and/or landmarks along the route to the pickup location. The systems and methods instruct the client device to overlay the selected augmented reality elements on a video feed of the client device.

  • Publication number: 20220167745
Abstract: A linkage for use in reclining furniture may include a back bracket supported by forward and rear back pivot links. The bottom of the rear back pivot link may be pivotably coupled to a rear lift link and the bottom of the forward back pivot link may be pivotably coupled to the rear lift link in a different location. A control link may be pivotably coupled on one end to one of the forward back pivot link and the rear back pivot link. The control link may pull the pivoting linkage of the back bracket and the forward and back pivot links as the overall linkage is moved from a closed to a TV to a full-recline position. The resulting pivot point for the back is projected upwardly and forwardly, to a point where an upholstered back and seat meet on a finished chair.

  • Publication number: 20220148437
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating communication between a number of different computing devices are provided. A service entity that provides a multi-modal transportation service can collaborate with a number of different devices via a vehicle integration interface over a number of different frequencies or networks. The vehicle integration interface includes a number of endpoints. Each endpoint corresponds to a device type associated with a number of devices operated according to a unique protocol. The service entity obtains a communication or provides a message to a respective device via a respective endpoint of the vehicle integration interface. The service entity determines a device type associated with a received communication based on a respective endpoint and translates the communication based on the device type. The translated communication is aggregated with information received from a number of different devices configured to operate and communicate according to a number of different protocols.

  • Patent number: 11320239
Abstract: An optical system includes an aperture stop configured to direct light through the optical system, an inverting prism assembly configured to receive light from the aperture stop and direct light through the optical system, and a field stop configured to receive light from the inverting prism assembly and direct light through the optical system to an operator of the optical system. A point-of-impact is identified in object space and a point-of-aim is identified in afocal space of the optical system. The inverting prism assembly is configured to be pivoted about a center of the aperture stop to effect alignment of the point-of-impact and point-of-aim in the afocal space so that the point-of-aim is coincident with the optical axis.
