• Patent number: 8597434
Abstract: A device and method of use for a towed portable cleaning facility is disclosed. The device employs storage tanks for both the storage and transport of cleaning fluids. The tanks serve the additional function of surrounding and enclosing the cleaning area an area that may be used for cleaning or storage. By utilizing the tanks as walls, the present invention provides a portable cleaning station. The device may further include the ability to treat and clean used fluids in order to either reuse or safely dispose of the used fluids as well as the ability to recover heat energy from an engine compartment to heat cleaning fluids.

• Publication number: 20110232696
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a compact heat exchanger for use in a mobile cleaning apparatus. The compact heat exchanger utilizes a water jacket, created by the annular space between a concentrically arranged internal housing and external housing. A radiator is enclosed within the internal housing. As super heated exhaust gas is supplied to the internal housing, heat is transferred to the surface of the internal housing before passing through the radiator. During operation of the mobile cleaning apparatus, incoming fluid, typically water, flows through an inlet and is directed through the water jacket and then the radiator for heating.

• Publication number: 20110237373
Abstract: A device and method of use of that device to automatically adjust the tension of a belt(s) used in a driven system is disclosed. The system includes at least one driving device or power source and at least one driven device. The system further includes a tensioning member that serves to continuously compensate for slack which naturally develops in the belt or belts during normal operation of the system, as well as preloading the device with the appropriate amount of tension. The device provides a manually operated adjustment which allows for user control of the tensioning member, as well as an indicator which displays the amount of elongation of a belt and/or the desired preloaded tension of the system, thus simplifying removal, application, and replacement of belts, etc.

• Patent number: 7090404
Abstract: A rolling element having comprises an inner ring, an outer ring and a series of rolling elements which are in contact with the raceways of the rings, an ultra-low viscosity fluid being present in the contacts having a kinematic viscosity ?=(?o/?) of less than 2 mm2/s, wherein the surfaces of the rings and the rolling elements have asperities which can have solid-to-solid contact during operation of the bearing. A factor Dq is defined which is equal to (I) whereby the solid-to-solid contact of the asperities is reduced by selecting such design parameters and operating conditions of the bearing that Dq is in the range from 8.0×10?6 mrad s1/2 to 1.36×10?4 mrad s1/2.

Abstract: A rolling element having comprises an inner ring, an outer ring and a series of rolling elements which are in contact with the raceways of the rings, an ultra-low viscosity fluid being present in the contacts having a kinematic viscosity &ngr;=(&eegr;o/&rgr;) of less than 2 mm2/s, wherein the surfaces of the rings and the rolling elements have asperities which can have solid-to-solid contact during operation of the bearing. A factor Dq is defined which is equal to (I) whereby the solid-to-solid contact of the asperities is reduced by selecting such design parameters and operating conditions of the bearing that Dq is in the range from 8.0×10−6 mrad s1/2 to 1.36×10−4 mrad s1/2.
