Abstract: A method of providing location information of a target Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) Enabled Terminal (target SET) while protecting privacy of a user of the target SET in a Home-SUPL Location Center (H-SLC) providing the location information of the target SET, and the H-SLC, are provided. The method includes receiving a location request message from a requester, transmitting an SUPL INITiation (SUPL INIT) message by using a first session IDentifier (ID) to the target SET, the first session ID including a real ID of the target SET, transmitting a Positioning DATA (PDATA) message by using a second session ID to the Home-SUPL Positioning Center (H-SPC), the second session ID including a pseudo-ID for secure connection between the H-SLC and the H-SPC, receiving a positioning result of the target SET from the H-SPC, and transmitting the positioning result to the requester.

Abstract: A method for acquiring a service category table required for finding a service includes acquiring information on a latest service category table by identifying version information of a service category table from a broadcasting signal received from adjacent devices during a process of searching for a device supporting a service desired among devices, and acquiring a service category table of a latest version by establishing a session connection with a device supporting the service category table of the latest version based on the information. By acquiring the information on the latest service category table, a session connection with only the device providing the desired service is established so that an optimized session connection establishing process can be performed and a total network capacity can be efficiently managed. Also, the latest service category table can be acquired from the session-connected device, and thus a new service can be easily identified.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing a video frame is provided. The method includes dividing the video frame into pixel blocks each including a reference pixel; calculating difference values between the reference pixel and pixels neighboring the reference pixel; converting the calculated difference values into values that belong to a bit depth range; and performing entropy coding by using the converted difference values as symbols.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for changing a frequency band used for communication between first and second devices supporting multiple frequency bands. The method includes transmitting a frequency band change request frame including information regarding a communication capability of the first device and a frequency band change request for requesting to change a frequency band currently being used for communication between the first and second devices, to the second device; receiving a frequency band change response frame corresponding to the frequency band change request frame, from the second device; and selectively changing the frequency band currently being used to another frequency band based on the received frequency band change response frame.

Abstract: A remote management method for a terminal supporting a mobile broadcast service is provided. The terminal receives a service guide with a terminal function management condition from a mobile broadcast service broadcasting server, stores and processes the service guide, and delivers a service subscription request to the mobile broadcast service broadcasting server, receives a message with a Device Management (DM) command generated by a DM server, as the mobile broadcast service broadcasting server receiving the service subscription request sends a request for a DM command regarding a function and a management operation of a terminal to be managed, to the DM server, and stores the DM command and executes the DM command if a status of the terminal satisfies the terminal function management condition.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating video packets and a method and apparatus for restoring video are provided. The method of generating video packets includes: generating at least one pixel block consisting of at least one reference pixel and a plurality of neighboring pixels adjacent to the at least one reference pixel from pixels of a video frame; replacing pixel values of the neighboring pixels in the at least one pixel block with pixel difference values, which are difference values between a pixel value of one of pixels adjacent to the neighboring pixels and the pixel values of the neighboring pixels; generating packets so that a pixel value of the at least one reference pixel and the pixel difference values of the neighboring pixels are allocated to different packets according to positions of the pixels; and performing entropy coding of some of the packets including the pixel difference values of the neighboring pixels.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for controlling a wireless power transmitter for transmitting charging power to a wireless power receiver. The control method of the present invention comprises the steps of: adjusting the internal impedance of the wireless power transmitter such that the impedance variation occurring when the wireless power receiver is positioned is set to a second impedance variation different from the first impedance variation; applying detection power for detecting the wireless power receiver; detecting the second impedance variation during the application of the detection power so as to detect the wireless power receiver; and changing the impedance variation occurring when the wireless power receiver is positioned from the second impedance variation to the first impedance variation.

An H-SLP sets a priority order of a plurality of positioning methods which a target terminal supports according to a set priority order set condition and transmits priority order information according to respective positioning methods to the target terminal. Further, the target terminal may receive information about the positioning methods including the priority order and select a positioning method having the highest priority order among the positioning methods, which can be used in its current electric wave environment. Moreover, the H-SLP and the target terminal may calculate a location of the target terminal according to a positioning method that the target terminal has selected.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for providing a service to a device having an interest in a specific service in a device-to-device (D2D) condition. The method includes: searching for a device which enters into an area managed by a device which provides the specific service; and identifying an interest of the searched device in the specific service and inviting the searched device to participate in the specific service. In the method, by selectively connecting a session based on a service interest, an efficient management in view of an entire network capacity is possible and an advantage of reducing a time for session connection is achieved.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transferring to a second communication band and returning to an original communication band according to a channel state in a multiband communication system are provided. The method includes communicating with a peer device in a first band, determining a channel state of a second band, and transferring to the second band based on a result of the determination, thereby efficiently using a plurality of bands and thus improving a data transmission speed.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for uploading/submitting user-created content to share with other users in a Dynamic Content Delivery (DCD) technology capable of supporting various types of delivery systems to deliver user-customized content. The invention provides an environment where a user creates content according to a predetermined rule and submits the content with associated content information, so that a DCD service provider can easily handle the content after receipt.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for providing a call taxi service based on D2D communication are provided. When a user terminal executes a call taxi service, a call taxi service request is transferred to a terminal from at least one taxi located in a neighboring area of the user terminal, and then the user terminal directly selects one taxi or one taxi is selected through a competition between taxis. As a result, a process of providing the call to the selected taxi. Accordingly, the user has an advantage of using a quick call taxi service without going through a separate call center.
