Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for providing a mobile advertising service in an advertising server of a mobile advertising system. An advertisement request message and contextualization and personalization information is received from an advertising engine. An advertisement corresponding to the contextualization and personalization information is selected. The selected advertisement and the contextualization and personalization information used to select the advertisement is delivered to the advertising engine.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for providing a personalized mobile advertising service by a mobile terminal in a mobile advertising system. The method includes receiving a message requesting an advertisement list through an advertising application, providing the requested advertisement list to a user through the advertising application, receiving a request message for a predetermined advertisement among advertisements included in the provided advertisement list through the advertising application, and delivering the requested advertisement to the advertising application.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for device management security, and more particularly to a system and method for device management security of a trap management object (Trap MO), which can prevent a non-authorized device management server from indirectly controlling device management of a mobile terminal through use of the Trap MO defined in Open Mobile Alliance Device Management (OMA DM). To this end, when a DM client receives a request to register a notification target MO as a recipient node registration from a DM server, the DM client determines if the DM server has authority for both addition and execution and allows only an authorized DM server to register a recipient node in the Trap MO, so that only a DM server having authority for execution of an MO can execute the MO and control the device management of a mobile terminal. Accordingly, it is possible to enhance device management security of the mobile terminal against non-authorized DM servers.

Abstract: A position locating method and system for locating a position of a mobile terminal using Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) are provided. A position locating method using Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention preferably includes receiving, at a target SUPL Enabled Terminal (SET), a SET list from an SUPL Location Platform (SLP); receiving an assistance data from a SET selected among SETs listed in the SET list; and location a position of the target set using the assistance data. A position locating method using Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) according to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes requesting, at a target SUPL Enabled Terminal (SET), at least one SET to send assistant data; receiving the assistant data from one of the least SET; and locating a position of the target SET based on the assistant data.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of measuring advertisement use details suitable for an advertisement content type and advertisement purposes, by setting metrics measurement criteria to be measured for each advertisement at an advertisement server that provides an advertisement, and transmitting the set criteria and advertisement contents to an advertisement client. Thus, the advertisement client can measure advertisement use details for each advertisement based on that criteria and report metrics information, that is the measurement result, to the advertisement server. By this, the advertisement server may grasp in real time each user's response to advertisements having different formats so that the measurement of advertising effects is possible, and according to this, a more differentiated, customized advertisement service can be provided in the future or it can be used as a basis for charging an advertiser.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing an advertisement application in a mobile advertising system is provided. When an advertisement application for representing an advertisement is installed in an advertisement-receiving terminal, a registration request for the installed advertisement application is made. The advertisement-receiving terminal assigns an application Identifier (ID) to the advertisement application in response to the registration request, and stores a profile of the advertisement application in association with the assigned application ID.

Abstract: A method for a user to receive an advertisement directly reflecting the user's liking. When a client registers event information set by a user into a server, the server provides a corresponding advertisement by retrieving if there exist advertisements corresponding to the event information registered into that server. Also, the client registers both event information and preference information into the server considering the liking of the user. By doing this, the user can receive an advertisement directly reflecting his liking. Also, the user information can be protected by only outputting the information into a mobile terminal.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for uploading/submitting user-created content to share with other users in a Dynamic Content Delivery (DCD) technology capable of supporting various types of delivery systems to deliver user-customized content. The invention provides an environment where a user creates content according to a predetermined rule and submits the content with associated content information, so that a DCD service provider can easily handle the content after receipt.

Abstract: The function of managing delivery information of ad sharing/forwarding in a server is implemented. For this, disclosed is a method of providing delivery information of an ad to a server when a user who has received the ad delivers the ad to another user. The method of providing delivery information differs when the user delivers the ad to another user through a server and when the user directly delivers the ad to another user without passing it through the server. According to the method, the server can easily track the situation of an ad delivery, and thus effectively confirms the changing particulars of an ad and performs billing appropriation and ad effect measurement.

Abstract: A method for allocating an identifier (ID) of a software component is disclosed. The method includes generating information on software components by a Device Management (DM) server, generating a download package including the information on software components by the DM server, transmitting the download package from the DM server to a DM client, executing the download package by the DM client, and allocating an ID to each software component based on the information on software components if the download package is executed by the DM client.

Abstract: Provided is a method for enabling a capability of a terminal in a device management system including a server capable of at least one of enabling and disabling capabilities of the terminal. The method includes the step of determining if a condition has been met for requesting enablement of a disabled capability of the terminal. The method further includes the step of transmitting a request message to the server including information related to the condition being met, based on a determination that the condition has been met. The method further includes the step of receiving a control command for the disabled capability from the server to process the control command.

Abstract: A system and a method for providing a mobility event triggered service of a target set and the target set are provided. When a mobility triggered service is started, a target set stores a unique identifier related to an area where the target set itself is currently located, and compares a unique identifier stored at present while identifiers are continuously stored during an agreed time interval in the mobility triggered service with the unique identifier related to the area where the target set itself is currently located. If there is the difference between two unique identifiers, the target set stores the unique identifier related to the area where the target set itself is currently located, and with determination of its movement, determines that an event of the mobility triggered service happens. Then, the target set reports the occurrence of the event to an H-SLP, and the H-SLP begins to calculate position values of the target set according to a set condition of a current mobility triggered service.

Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for managing a schedule of a terminal based on a local time. It is possible to prevent schedule information from a schedule of a terminal from being repeatedly processed or from being missed, when the local time changes due to the movement of the terminal into another time zone or due to daylight saving time. It is also possible to manage a schedule by determining if the schedule has changed during a period between a time before the change and the changed time.

Abstract: A method for managing software of a terminal in a device management system is provided. The device management server identifies if the memory area required for downloading and installing software is ensured in the terminal when the device management server has the software to be downloaded to the terminal. Then, the device management server acquires at least one among a usage rate during a predetermined period of time, a last use time, and a total number of times of usage for each software installed in the terminal when the required memory area is not ensured in the terminal. Next, the device management server selects software to be removed based on the usage rate, the last use time, etc., and notifies the terminal of the selected removal-targeted software. Then, the terminal removes the removal-targeted software when the terminal receives a removal acceptance input of the removal-targeted software from the user, and notifies the device management server of a result of the removal.

Abstract: A method for positioning a target terminal while protecting the privacy of a user of the target terminal is provided. To this end, the real Identification (ID) of the target terminal is managed only by a Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) Location Center (SLC) with which the target terminal make a contract for positioning thereof, so that the real ID is prevented from being exposed to the outside. In this way, even when a plurality of SLCs that can be managed by different network operator performs positioning of a target terminal by using an SUPL Positioning Center (SPC) existing in an external network, the real ID of the target terminal is not transferred to the SPC, and thus the privacy of a user of the target terminal can be protected.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and system for device management of a mobile communication terminal are provided. Various errors which may occur in the mobile communication terminal are monitored by the mobile communication terminal and are corrected remotely. In the method, the mobile communication terminal receives DiagMon policies from a DM server and stores the DiagMon policies in real-time in which the DiagMon policies are constructed in response to various errors. The mobile communication terminal monitors then the status of the mobile communication terminal according to periods set in the DiagMon policies. When a trouble is detected to occur, the mobile communication terminal collects detailed information related to the occurred trouble and transmits the detailed information to the DM server. The mobile communication terminal receives DiagMon correction information capable of correcting the occurred trouble from the DM server and corrects the trouble, and therefore normalizes the terminal.

Abstract: Disclosed are a location service providing system and a method for providing a triggered location request service. An H-SLP sets a priority order of a plurality of positioning methods which a target terminal supports according to a set priority order set condition and transmits priority order information according to respective positioning methods to the target terminal. Further, the target terminal may receive information about the positioning methods including the priority order and select a positioning method having the highest priority order among the positioning methods, which can be used in its current electric wave environment. Moreover, the H-SLP and the target terminal may calculate a location of the target terminal according to a positioning method that the target terminal has selected.
