For example, the system receives various types of unlabeled data and determines, through an unsupervised machine learning model, a label for the data. The labels are provided to a supervised machine learning model during a first training process. The system also performs unsupervised labeling and supervised labeling of network flows to infer anomalous network traffic. When new data is received, the supervised machine learning model is executed during an inference process to cluster the new data in accordance with the labels that were determined by the unsupervised machine learning model. In some examples, the system may combine the unsupervised machine learning model with a supervised machine learning model to perform automated anomaly detection.

The first network device sends the second packet to a second network device, so that the second network device forwards the packet based on the VNI included in the IPV6 header. In this application, the IPV6 header is used to carry the VNI, and no additional UDP header needs to be encapsulated to carry the VNI.

That is, when a function or an indication corresponding to the first segment identifier is to perform the encapsulation operation, after receiving the first packet, the first device may delete the first SRH in the first packet based on an actual case, and perform the encapsulation operation to generate the second packet, where the second packet does not include the first SRH.

The method is applied to a software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) overlay network. A customer premise equipment (CPE) autonomously generates an SD-WAN overlay routing table, so that communication reliability and flexibility are improved. A route reflector (RR) specifies an overlay multicast reverse path forwarding (RPF) route to the CPE to implement SD-WAN overlay multicast communication, and the CPE does not need to perform path computation autonomously, so that a computing power requirement of the CPE is reduced. An identifier of the CPE and an identifier of a site are carried in a multicast join message to implement the SD-WAN overlay multicast communication. A standard IP header is carried in a multicast service packet to implement the SD-WAN overlay multicast communication, so that generalization, applicability, and compatibility are improved.
