Abstract: Disclosed in the present application are a method and a device for selecting a local location management function (L-LMF) entity, which are used for ensuring that, under a 5G localization network architecture, UE can use the L-LMF entity of a non-serving RAN node after moving, to satisfy the localization requirements of the 5G localization network architecture for high precision and low time delay. The method includes: upon reception of a localization request message sent by an access and mobility management function (AMF) entity/mobility management entity (MME), starting to execute a process of directing of the UE to the L-LMF entity of a non-serving node; and providing a localization service for the UE by mutually transmitting with the UE a transmission message carrying relevant localization information.

Abstract: A method of configuring Uplink Data Compression and a device thereof are provided. The method includes: in a case that first UDC configuration information sent by a target base station is received by a user equipment, configuring, by the user equipment, an operator-defined dictionary stored by the user equipment for a compression processing of uplink data, according to the first UDC configuration information, where the first UDC configuration information includes indication information of using the operator-defined dictionary stored by the user equipment, and a target PLMN of the target base station is different from a source PLMN of a source base station of the user equipment.

The method for decompressing uplink data includes: checking, by a decompression end, a UDC header in a PDCP packet after the PDCP packet is received, where the UDC header includes at least: compression context information of a data packet in the PDCP packet and information related to a decompression buffer area, and the information related to the decompression buffer area is for indicating the decompression end to control the decompression buffer area of the decompression end to keep consistent with a compression buffer area of a compression end; and performing, by the decompression end, a corresponding operation on the data packet in the PDCP packet according to the compression context information and the information related to the decompression buffer area.

Abstract: The present invention provides a satellite differential auxiliary data transmission method, a location method and an apparatus, for ensuring that a better high-precision Beidou satellite location service can be provided on the basis of 5G or other developable technology networks. The satellite differential auxiliary data transmission method comprises: an LMF acquiring auxiliary information related to a Beidou satellite location system, and calculating auxiliary information for an UE location calculation, the auxiliary information including differential auxiliary data (S101); and sending, via broadcast, to a base station the auxiliary information for the UE location calculation (S102).

In embodiments of the present application, a terminal determines a detected first beam reference signal, and sends a request message to an LMF entity, receive first positioning assistance data comprising second beam information of a second beam reference signal sent by the LMF entity, measure the second beam reference signal of an adjacent base station according to the first positioning assistance data. Abstract: Disclosed in the present disclosure are a processing method and device for a cache synchronous exception, for solving the problem that no solution for a compression check failure is available in the prior art. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, when caches are out of synchronization, a caching failure notification message is sent to a transmitting device; a reset processing is carried out on a compressed cache area, and a reset instruction is sent; and then subsequent data packet transmission is carried out by using reset cache areas.
