  • Patent number: 7868580
Abstract: A method for turning a three-phase alternating current motor on again, after it has been separated from a supply voltage, if a residual field voltage induced by a rotor residual field is present, and to an electrical circuit for implementing the method. The time progressions of the residual field voltage and the supply voltage are recorded, and the phase difference between the voltages is calculated in advance from the time progressions. A time point ts is determined, at which the phase difference goes below a predetermined maximum value ??max. A switching command for applying voltage is triggered at a time interval that corresponds to a predetermined switching time delay ?s, before the time point ts is reached, so that the motor is connected to the supply voltage approximately at the time point ts. The electrical circuit has a measurement value detection device, a microcontroller and a direct current setting device.

  • Patent number: 7376170
Abstract: A digital imbalance correction device and method are provided including an input unit to receive first input signals. A time-to-frequency-domain-transformer performs a transformation of the first input signals from time-domain into frequency-domain. A subtractor receives second input signals and outputs a gain difference as a function of frequency at its output. A cross-correlator receives third input signals based on the input signals, and outputs a cross-correlation of the third input signals. A gain corrector receives a fourth input signal based the associated first input signal. A gain of the fourth input signal is corrected based on the power difference spectrum. A phase corrector receives a fifth input signal based the associated first input signal. A phase of the fifth input signal is corrected based on the cross-correlation output, such that the phase of the fifth input signal is in quadrature relation to the other one of the first input signals.

  • Patent number: 7357419
Abstract: A fastening arrangement for a safety belt is provided and includes a holder for securement to a vehicle. The holder has a T-shaped head with laterally extending arms. A connector is moveably disposed, against spring action on the holder and is connected to a belt buckle strap loop. A magnet and magnetic field sensor are disposed on the holder and connector. Relative movement between them, caused by displacement of the connector relative to the holder, is converted into a signal that corresponds to acting belt force. First springs are provided on outer longitudinal sides of the holder and connector and respectively extend between the arms of the holder and an oppositely disposed abutment of the connector to counteract tension force of the safety belt or buckle. The compensation spring is disposed between the holder and connector and, without a tension force acting on the connector, prestresses the connector relative to the holder against nearly relaxed first springs with a low spring force.
