  • Publication number: 20070071318
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a visual processing device that achieves gradation processing that further enhances the visual effect. The visual processing device 1 is a visual processing device that performs gradation processing for each image region of an input signal IS, and is provided with an image partitioning portion 2, a gradation transformation curve derivation portion 10, and a gradation processing portion 5. The image partitioning portion 2 and the gradation transformation curve derivation portion 10 use a brightness histogram Hm of a wide area image region Em to create a gradation transformation curve Cm of the image region Pm. The gradation processing portion 5 performs gradation processing of that image region Pm based on the gradation transformation curve Cm that has been derived.

  • Publication number: 20060153591
Abstract: In order to avoid a load change which occurs when seam O passes by the heads affect image information, a dyeing layer transfer head and recording heads are located in equal intervals having length P, which is obtained by equally dividing an entire circumference K of a recording intermediate belt by n (n is integer), and, given that the position of the seam of the recording Intermediate belt, which does not have an end obtained by coupling two ends of a belt body of a band shape, is origin O, images are formed in portions except for portions at origin O, or at a distance of 1×P, 2×P, . . . (n?1)×P from origin O. In this way, it is possible to prevent deterioration in the image quality, such as a stripe line in an image formed by an image forming apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20050219559
Abstract: When a shutter button of a digital camera is pressed, a picture signal fetched from a CCD is converted to a digital signal and compressed and written into a nonvolatile memory means like a flash memory card as a picture file which can be identified uniquely. A user can produce a control file for controlling print processing, display processing, transmission processing and the like for the picture file by selecting a particular picture file using an operation key. If multi-screen print is carried out on a printer unit, a vertical direction of each picture is unified. Further, upon reprint operation for multiple order persons, sorting work after the print is facilitated by providing with an identification means for identifying each order person.

  • Patent number: 6937356
Abstract: When a shutter button of a digital camera is pressed, a picture signal fetched from a CCD is converted to a digital signal and compressed and written into a nonvolatile memory means like a flash memory card as a picture file which can be identified uniquely. By turning on a reproduction switch, a picture file is read out from the nonvolatile memory means, the compressed data is expanded and converted to an analog signal, and the converted picture is displayed on a liquid crystal display. By pressing a display feed key, another picture file is read out and displayed. A user can produce a control file for controlling print processing, display processing, transmission processing and the like for the picture file by selecting a particular picture file using an operation key. The nonvolatile memory means can be removed. By mounting this memory means on a printer unit, display unit or picture transmission unit, the digital camera also can be used during print, display or transmission of the picture.

  • Patent number: 6937259
Abstract: A recording intermediate belt 15 which is made endless so as to travels around a continuous path has image formation areas and non-image formation areas alternately provided on an outer surface thereof. Images of different colors are sequentially formed in the image formation areas by recording heads 21b through 23b respectively provided in first through third image formation sections 21 through 23. The recording heads 21b through 23b of the first through third image formation sections 21 through 23 are separated from each other by a distance which is greater than a length of an image formation area in a traveling direction of the recording intermediate belt 15. The recording heads 21b through 23b are each pressed onto the recording intermediate belt 15 in a non-image formation area immediately preceding an image formation area and starts an image formation operation.

  • Publication number: 20050123293
Abstract: In an optical transmission method and system for performing a bidirectional optical transmission at an identical wavelength between an intra-office transmission circuit and in-house transmission circuits with a single-core optical fiber, the intra-office transmission circuit detects, based on a response failure of the in-house transmission circuits, an in-house transmission circuit corresponding to the response failure, and further detects a failure point by transmitting an optical isolated pulse to the in-house transmission circuit corresponding to the response failure in order to automatically detect a disconnection failure of an optical fiber without connecting a specific measuring device.

  • Publication number: 20040257427
Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided, which comprises a dye transfer section for transferring a dye of a dye transferring member onto an outer surface of a circularly moving recording intermediate belt, wherein the dye transferring member comprises a base material and the dye is provided on the base material; and a recording paper transfer section for transferring the dye transferred onto the recording intermediate belt onto recording paper. In a dye transfer operation state, the second roller draws out the dye transferring member and the dye on the drawn dye transferring member is transferred onto the recording intermediate belt facing the dye transferring member. When the dye transfer operation state is changed to a standby state, the first roller winds back the dye transferring member so that a portion of the dye transferring member from which the dye has been transferred faces the recording intermediate belt.

  • Publication number: 20020093987
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for time-division multiplexing. This method comprises a step of generating a plurality of first signals and a plurality of second signals to which specific pulse trains for frame synchronization are allocated respectively; a step of generating low speed signals of plural channels including the first and second signals and transmission signals; a conversion step; and a step of time-division multiplexing the low speed signals after the conversion step, thereby obtaining high speed signals. When the present invention is applied to SDH for example, the first and second signals may be Al bytes and A2 bytes respectively, and the transmission signals may be payload signals. According to one aspect of the invention, at the conversion step, the first and second signals in each channel are partly converted into either of “1/0” alternating signals and “0/1” alternating signals.
