  • Patent number: 11415533
Abstract: A method for automatically quantifying an analyte in a measurement sample includes providing a 1D-NMR spectrum and a 2D-NMR spectrum, providing at least one information item in relation to at least one analyte to be quantified, establishing a chemical shift of the NMR signal of the analyte to be quantified from the measured 2D-NMR spectrum using the at least one information item provided, establishing expected peak positions of the NMR signal of the analyte to be quantified, establishing measured peak positions from the measured 1D-NMR spectrum, and establishing disturbance signal peak positions using the expected peak positions and the actual peak positions. The method further includes modelling the 1D-NMR spectrum using the established disturbance signal peak positions using the established chemical shift and using the at least one information item provided, integrating the modelled 1D-NMR spectrum, and quantifying the analyte by internal or external referencing.

  • Publication number: 20220230366
Abstract: In an approach to X-ray inspection image display systems, a colorized X-ray inspection image is received comprising a monochrome X-ray inspection image that is colorized in accordance with an X-ray inspection system false colorization scheme. The colorized X-ray inspection image is filtered by performing pixel shading on the colorized X-ray inspection image to generate a custom colorized X-ray inspection image having a custom false colorization scheme that is different from the X-ray inspection system false colorization scheme.

  • Patent number: 11392422
Abstract: The present application relates to executing a containerized application in a nested manner on two separate container orchestration services. For example, a user may submit a request to a container orchestration service to execute a containerized application, and in response, instead of identifying one of the existing compute instances belonging to the user and executing the containerized application on the identified compute instance, the container orchestration service may generate and submit a request to a serverless container management service that can not only acquire compute resources on behalf of the container orchestration service but also manage the compute resources such that the container orchestration service (or the original requesting user) does not need to manage scaling, monitoring, patching, and security of the compute resources.

  • Publication number: 20220219500
Abstract: A pivotable vehicle trailer hitch assembly may include a tube frame operably coupled to a chassis of a vehicle and extending transversely across a rear portion of the vehicle, a hitch receiver operably coupled to the tube frame to support a ball mount, and a pivot assembly defining a pivot axis substantially perpendicular to a direction of extension of the tube frame. The pivot assembly may be operably coupled to the hitch receiver and the tube frame to pivot the hitch receiver and ball mount about the pivot axis from an extended position in which the hitch receiver and ball mount extend substantially perpendicular to tube frame, and a retracted position in which the hitch receiver and ball mount extend substantially parallel to the tube frame. The pivot assembly comprises an electrically operated linear actuator operable to transfer the hitch receiver and the ball mount between the extended position and the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 11232695
Abstract: A battery powered do-it-yourself (DIY) swimming pool sensor and alarm unit that is removably mounted in a floating assembly. The sensor monitors movement in the pool and around the pool deck and provides remote video alerts to designated cell phones as well as a localized audible and visual alarm when motion is detected. It has an above waterline camera and a below waterline camera that provides a video feed for further remote investigation. It utilizes a float stabilizing means to ensure the floating assembly is not capsized by large waves or wind. It cannot be defeated because of its floating location, and can be simply installed and set up by the average homeowner. Optionally, it has sensors that monitor the pool water's chemistry and provides the results to an owner's cell phone or to a remote chemical dispensing unit located at the pool.

  • Publication number: 20210326896
Abstract: We have developed a system that automatically suggests macros to help customer-support agents process customer-support tickets in an online customer-support system. During operation, the system receives a customer-support ticket, which is associated with a request from a customer in the customer-support system, wherein the request relates to a product or a service used by the customer. Next, the system converts text from the customer-support ticket into a ticket embedding in a vector space. The system then feeds the ticket embedding into a macro-suggestion model, which correlates ticket embeddings with macros, wherein each of the macros comprises a sequence of commands that performs an operation to facilitate processing of the customer-support ticket. If the macro-suggestion model produces suggested macros, the system presents the suggested macros to a customer-support agent.

  • Patent number: 10990631
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to linking documents using citations. A server accesses a stored document in a data repository. The server determines a set of candidate citing documents that cite the stored document. The server obtains, for each candidate citing document from the set, first information representing an impact of the candidate citing document taken as a whole and second information representing a citation context within the candidate citing document. The server determines a subset of citing documents, from the set of candidate citing documents, based on the obtained first information and the obtained second information. The server provides a digital transmission of the stored document, including visible indicia of the subset of citing documents, for display at a client device.
