  • Publication number: 20240403784
Abstract: An enterprise system may include devices that perform respective operations of an enterprise and a sustainability platform system. The sustainability platform system may obtain a sustainability model representative of a state of operations of the enterprise and a current sustainability action plan associated with improving one or more sustainability parameters of the enterprise via one or more abatement technologies. The sustainability platform system may also determine that updated data is available for the abatement technologies and simulate an effect of the action plan on the sustainability parameters based on the updated data. The sustainability platform system may also determine whether the simulated effect of the action plan is effective to cause the sustainability parameters to be within one or more thresholds, and in response to determining that the simulated effect is effective, send commands to the devices to maintain their respective operations according to the current sustainability action plan.

  • Publication number: 20240397399
Abstract: A wireless device establishes a Bluetooth connection with a peripheral device based on one or more Bluetooth Specifications, and transmits one or more first Bluetooth-encoded data frames to the peripheral device over the Bluetooth connection. The wireless device initiates a first handover operation for communications with the peripheral device responsive to a link metric of the Bluetooth connection being less than a first link metric threshold. In some instances, the first handover operation includes selecting an access point (AP) of one or more candidate APs based on signal strengths of frames received from the one or more candidate APs, and switching the communications between the wireless device and the peripheral device from the Bluetooth connection to a wireless local area network (WLAN) channel associated with the selected AP. The wireless device transmits one or more second Bluetooth-encoded data frames to the peripheral device over the WLAN channel.

  • Publication number: 20240388324
Abstract: Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP) transmission is a potential candidate to optimize the performance of a network with added flexibility to serve a UE from multiple Base Stations (BSs). However, the performance gain in CoMP is as good as the dynamic clustering. The existing approaches are applicable for a fixed cluster size, which does not capture time-varying channel conditions and the cost of transmission. Embodiments herein provide a method and system for a learning based dynamic clustering of BSs for a CoMP transmission in communication networks. Herein, a framework for the CoMP transmission in 5th Generation (5G) and beyond networks is disclosed. Further, an optimal user-centric dynamic clustering technique is disclosed for the CoMP with the aim of maximizing the throughput subject to the constraint on the cost of transmission from the CoMP cluster i.e., coordinating set of BSs.
