  • Publication number: 20240357581
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive first control information that enables the UE to skip transmission of a scheduled uplink message via an uplink skipping operation. The UE may receive second control information that requests the UE to switch an active BWP at the UE from a first BWP to a second BWP. The UE may receive third control information that schedules transmission of an uplink message at the UE during a time interval. Application of the uplink skipping operation to the uplink message may be based on the time interval being after the switch and whether the UE is scheduled to transmit a reference signal during the time interval. The UE may transmit, during the time interval and via the second BWP, a signal that is based on whether the UE applies the uplink skipping operation during the time interval.

  • Publication number: 20240357189
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer program product, and a computer system for synchronizing audio and video using pause gap analysis. A computer splits a video into an audio stream and a video stream. A computer identifies time points at which there is no sound in the audio stream and derives pause gaps in the audio stream. A computer applies a binary classifier to predict sound presence or absence in frames of the video stream and derives pause gaps in the video stream. A computer identifies desynchronization between the pause gaps in the video stream and the pause gaps in the audio stream. A computer aligns the pause gaps in the video stream with the pause gaps in the audio stream, based on metadata of the pause gaps in the video stream.

  • Publication number: 20240354731
Abstract: This present disclosure proposes a system and method for providing a 3D computer vision-assisted frictionless self-checkout experience in a traditional retail store by using two RGB-D camera sensors and a conveyer belt. The disclosure provides a self-checkout counter (106) that enables a customer (102) to go through a self-service checkout process by simply placing the collected products one by one on a conveyer belt. One vertical and another horizontal RGB-D sensor (108) mounted in a housing frame attached towards the end of the conveyer belt capture RGB and depth image of each product passing through the housing and pass it to a product recognition engine (216). The engine (216) identifies the unique product along with its volumetric attributes processing the RGB-D data that is further compared with a master product database and processed for invoicing.

  • Patent number: 12124362
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for optimally performing stress testing against big data management systems. A set of random test queries is generated and compiled to determine the data points of the features (e.g., table type being queried) of the set of random test queries. A distance (e.g., Mahalanobis distance) is then measured between the data points of the features and the mean of a distribution of data points corresponding to each same feature of an extracted feature set. Each random test query whose distance exceeds a threshold distance is then ranked. The ranked random test queries are then executed in order of rank. Those executed random test queries which resulted in an error (e.g., system failure) are added to a log, which is used to identify those queries to perform a stress test against the big data management system.

  • Publication number: 20240345887
Abstract: An automated machine learning-based system and method of managing content for data migrations. The system can process bulk tabular datasets and real-time legacy application parameters. The data can then be segmented into segments based on an estimated time for execution of the data migration for the given dataset generated by a machine learning model. In some embodiments, the system can automatically generate a code that can perform the data migration based on the proposed segment segmentation. The proposed embodiments are effective in reducing downtime during migrations as well as limiting the impact of failure events on the process.

  • Publication number: 20240325650
Abstract: A medical syringe reduces medication waste that dispensing medication remaining within the syringe's Luer tip. The syringe plunger incorporates a ramrod with a jag on its distal end that is inserted through the Luer tip's lumen when the plunger is fully advanced into the syringe barrel. A center through bore of a syringe stopper is slidably coupled to the ramrod in fluid-sealed abutting contact. The center bore is initially oriented on the ramrod over the jag. Medication is aspirated into the syringe while the stopper is in its initial, axial position. The last, dose of medication is dispensed by advancing with the plunger with sufficient pressure to abut the stopper into contact with and translate the ramrod jag through the lumen of the Luer tip, thereby dispensing medication that was retained within the lumen.
