  • Publication number: 20060113915
Abstract: An AC plasma display panel has a pair of panels disposed in spaced opposed relation, and each having a plurality of electrodes formed on an opposed surface thereof and mostly covered with a dielectric layer; and a sealing member which seals the periphery of the pair of panels. The electrodes each have a portion uncovered with the dielectric layer, and the sealing member is disposed in contact with the uncovered portions of the electrodes. With this arrangement, the discharge space can be kept gas-tightly sealed by the sealing member without communication with the outside of the display panel which may otherwise occur due to the presence of voids on opposite sides and surfaces of the electrodes.

  • Patent number: 6754069
Abstract: A portable terminal wearable on a forearm includes a display screen that can be adjusted to be almost perpendicular to a visual axis of a user without interrupting an operation being performed by the hand connected to the forearm, and can be protected from an unexpected external impact. The portable terminal is worn near the wrist of the forearm via a forearm fixing band of a forearm mounting unit. A first rotary mechanism enables an x-axis of the display screen of the display unit to be adjusted, so that the screen is visible. Upon operation of the first rotary mechanism, a hinge case and display unit are turned to a certain angle with respect to the forearm mounting unit. Then, a second rotary mechanism enables a y-axis of the display screen to be adjusted, so that the screen is further visible. Upon operation of the second rotary mechanism, the display unit is turned to a certain angle with respect to the hinge case.

  • Patent number: 6553274
Abstract: A reticle is designed with a method including generating first dummy patterns with intervals from main patterns. Each of the first dummy patterns are divided into a plurality of spaced apart second dummy patterns and then each of the second dummy patterns are measured to find third dummy patterns having widths and areas below smallest allowable values. The third dummy patterns are then respectively connected to second dummy patterns which are adjacent to the third dummy patterns by generating a connecting dummy pattern. Selective non-connected third dummy patterns are removed. The first dummy patterns are divided into a plurality of second dummy patterns by vertical and horizontal strip lines crossing the first dummy patterns.
