  • Patent number: 5023688
Abstract: A transfer gate is made up of at least two p-channel MOS FETs and at least two n-channel MOS FETs. The current paths of the n-channel MOS FETs are connected in series, and the conduction of the FETs is controlled by a first control signal applied to the gates thereof. The current paths of the p-channel MOS FETs are also connected in series, and the conduction of the FETs is controlled by a second control signal applied to the gates thereof. The first and second control signals are opposite phase. The series circuit of the current paths of the p-channel FETs is connected in parallel to the series circuit of the current paths of the n-channel FETs. The p-channel FETs are formed in at least two n-type well regions, which is formed in the major surface region of a p-type semiconductor substrate at different locations separated from each other by predetermined distances.

  • Patent number: 4992127
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing molded articles of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin (FRTP) by conducting laminated molding of:(a) prepregs comprising woven reinforcing fibers impregnated with thermoplastic resin and containing at least one notch, and(b) sheet prepreg comprising unidirectionally arranged reinforcing fibers impregnated with thermoplastic resin and containing at least one notch in a direction traversing the unidirectionally arranged fibers. The molded articles of FRTP obtained by the process of this invention are high quality products free from warpage, torsion and uneven strength.

  • Patent number: 4990207
Abstract: This invention relates to a process for preparing fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (FRTP) molded articles comprising stacking sheet prepregs comprising unidirectionally arranged reinforcing fibers impregnated with thermoplastic resin and molding the same, and to a process for preparing FRTP molded articles by using woven reinforcing fibers in place of unidirectionally arranged reinforcing fibers. The FRTP molded articles obtained by the process of this invention have high quality and can be molded without unevenness in strength.

  • Patent number: 4973975
Abstract: One of analog input voltages applied to a plurality of analog input terminals is selected by means of analog switches connected to the respective analog input terminals and supplied to a common terminal. In this case, each of the analog switches permits selective supply of the potential of a corresponding one of the plurality of analog input terminals in response to a control signal supplied from a controller. The common terminal is connected to the positive input terminal of a comparator. The comparator compares the voltage with a digital output value from the controller which is converted into an analog voltage by means of a D/A converter. Further, the controller generates a preset control signal in an inhibition period during which supply of a voltage from the plurality of analog input terminals to the common terminal is inhibited.

  • Patent number: 4699825
Abstract: In forming a silicon nitride film by the low-pressure CVD method using a silane gas and ammonia, the reaction pressure is set to lie over a range of from about 0.05 to about 0.25 Torr, enabling a silicon nitride film to be formed, of uniform thickness, highly efficiently even on large wafers, and maintaining high yield, improved uniformity and good quality as a whole without decreasing the film-forming efficiency. Preferably, the reaction pressure is maintained over a range of from 0.1 to 0.2 Torr to further increase the efficiency, while preferably maintaining the temperature over a range of from 700.degree. to 1000.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 4653801
Abstract: A sealing structure for an automotive vehicle comprising a drip seal attached to a flange formed along the vehicle body roof and the vehicle body front pillar and shutting off the clearance along the front pillar between the vehicle body and the vehicle door. The drip seal has two ridges forming inner and outer lips, the outer lip being held in abutting contact with an inner face of the door. The inner lip extends along the vehicle body roof parallel to and spaced from the outer lip and forming with the outer lip an upwardly opened drip channel. The front tip edge of the door sash and the front pillar abut the opposite longitudinally extending sides of the inner lip along the front pillar and shut off the clearance between the door sash and front pillar substantially flush with the outer surface of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4571999
Abstract: In an ultrasonic inspecting apparatus, propagation time is measured between a transmitting point of an ultrasonic wave from outer circumference of a subject material and a receiving point of the ultrasonic wave at another point on the outer circumference spaced apart from the transmitting point by a predetermined angle, and a predetermined sequence of operations is performed with the measured propagation times and the known constants, thereby internal information concerning the material, including location and shape of a defect existing therein, is provided.
