Patent number: 5801383Abstract: At a heat treatment temperature in a reducing atmosphere of Ar and H.sub.2, a precursory film of V.sub.2 O.sub.5 is reduced into a VO.sub.x film with the heat treatment temperature selected in a predetermined temperature range between 350 .degree. C. and 450.degree. C., both exclusive, to control a resistivity of the VO.sub.x film, where x is greater than 1.875 and less than 2.0. The VO.sub.x film is not susceptible to a metal-semiconductor phase transition inevitable in VO.sub.2 at about 70.degree. C. and is excellent for use in a bolometer-type infrared sensor. When reduced at 350.degree. C. and 450.degree. C. the resistivity and its temperature coefficient of the VO.sub.x film at room temperature are 0.5 and 0.002 .OMEGA. cm and -2.2% and 0.2% per degree Celsius.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 1996Date of Patent: September 1, 1998Assignees: Masahiro Ota, Director General, Technical Research and Development Institute, Japan Defense Agency, NEC CorporationInventors: Hideo Wada, Mitsuhiro Nagashima, Naoki Oda, Tokuhito Sasaki, Toru Mori

Patent number: 5438669Abstract: A plurality of physical registers greater in number than can be addressed by instructions are provided. The physical registers are divided into a plurality of partial groups or windows. Each of the physical registers is specified by a physical register number determined by a combination of the number of the window and a register number contained in the window. The window number is indicated by a current floating point window pointer stored in a current floating point window pointer register. In executing a vector calculation program having repetitive loops of an instruction sequence, the window is changed for each loop by changing the value of the current floating point window pointer. Vector data to be calculated at the i-th loop is read from a main memory at the loop before the i-th loop.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 1992Date of Patent: August 1, 1995Assignees: Hitachi, Ltd., Kisaburo Nakazawa, Hiroshi Nakamura, Hiromitsu ImoriInventors: Kisaburo Nakazawa, Hiroshi Nakamura, Hiromitsu Imori, Hideo Wada

Patent number: 4812974Abstract: List operation on a vector in which the number of an element of a vector operand is represented by an element of another vector operand is to be performed with a general-purpose computer system having no vector registers. List vector elements are read out from a memory by adding at addresses determined sequentially by adding by adding values of a request vector increment register to a list vector address. A value resulting from the bit shift of the element is stored in a second operand increment register. A second vector element is read out from the memory at the address corresponding to a value resulting from addition of the content of the second operand increment register to the second operand initial address register, the element being then stored at the memory location of the address given by a value resulting from the addition of the value of the first operand vector increment register to the first operand address.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 1986Date of Patent: March 14, 1989Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Hideo Wada, Shuichi Abe, Tsuyoshi Watanabe

Patent number: 4611868Abstract: A lead wire holder including a first holding member and a second holding member. The first and second holding members are interconnected so that both can be folded and put together through a connecting portion. The holding members are provided on the inside thereof with opposed lead wire insertion recesses mounting legs for mounting the holder to a printed circuit board project downwardly from the lower end surface of either or both of the holding members. Elastic tongue portions for elastically holding lead wire are formed from a part of the wall portions of the lead wire insertion recesses. Narrow recesses are disposed on the lower end surface and extend from the insertion recesses, so that the insertion end of each lead wire is restricted when its coated end abuts against with the narrow portions. It is thereby possible to let downwardly projecting cores of the lead wires have a uniform projecting length.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 1984Date of Patent: September 16, 1986Assignee: Kitagawa Industries Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazuhiro Matsui, Hideo Wada, Yoshihito Nakano, Toshihiro Hayashi
