Abstract: A relay device relays communication. The relay device includes: a receiving unit that receives communication data from a communication device; a storage unit that stores the communication data received by the receiving unit; and a processing unit that performs processing. A first period and a second period are alternately set. The processing unit changes the total number of the first periods and the second periods included in a next predetermined period each time a predetermined period including the first periods and the second periods passes. The processing unit determines whether or not the communication data is stored in the storage unit. When it is determined that the communication data is stored in the storage unit, the processing unit specifies a period to which a communication determination time at which the determination has been performed belongs, from the first period and the second period.

  • Publication number: 20240430186
Abstract: A communication device transmits data to a relay device for transmitting received data. The communication device includes a processing unit that performs processing. The processing unit gives an instruction for data transmission to the relay device, and acquires a transmission delay time from the instruction for data transmission to the transmission of the data. The processing unit acquires a determination delay time from the reception of the data by the relay device to a determination point in time at which whether or not to transmit the received data is determined. The processing unit calculates an entire period from the instruction for data transmission to the determination point in time based on the acquired transmission delay time and determination delay time.

Abstract: An action chart describing an operation of an automated manufacturing machine includes subperiods into which an operation period from a start to an end of the operation of the automated manufacturing machine is divided. The action chart includes element actions included in the operation of the automated manufacturing machine. The element actions on the action chart are assigned to the subperiods and each include an action identifier including qualitative information about the element action, and a numerical table or numerical parameters. The action chart is read. The action identifiers on the action chart are converted into program elements stored in a manner associated with the action identifiers. A numerical value in the numerical table or the numerical parameters is set for each program element. The program elements are combined together in an order of the subperiods on the action chart.
