Abstract: A marker for achieving more accurate position and posture estimation, and a posture estimation method and a position and posture estimation method using this marker are provided. In order to solve this problem, the present invention provides a marker for estimating the posture of an object, wherein the marker includes standard variable moire patterns VS1 and VS2 for estimating a visual line angle around at least one axis with respect to the object and high-sensitivity variable moire patterns VH1 and VH2 that have a resolution of visual line angle higher than the standard variable moire patterns VS1 and VS2 and that are used to estimate the visual line angle around the axis.

Abstract: A drift layer made of silicon carbide has a first conductivity type. A body region on the drift layer has a second conductivity type. A source region on the body region has the first conductivity type. A gate insulating film is on each inner wall of at least one trench. A protective layer has at least a portion below the trench, is in contact with the drift layer, and has the second conductivity type. Abstract: There is provided an engine stopping device including a stopping solenoid, where an operating shaft, interlocked to a control rack of a fuel injection pump, is rotatably supported by an engine case in a pass-through manner. The control rack is forcibly movable to a stopping position by an action of the stopping solenoid on an operation arm provided for a projecting portion of the operating shaft in an integrally rotatable manner. An extending-retracting rod of the stopping solenoid and the operation arm are interlocked by fitting engagement between a pin provided for the extending-retracting rod and a cut-out portion of the operation arm. In the torsional vibration damper, a planetary gear is oscillated within a first oscillating range when a torsional torque is smaller than a reference torque, and within a second oscillating range when the torsional torque is greater than the reference torque. Each backlash between the pinion gear and at least one of a sun gear and a ring gear within the second oscillating range is individually wider than each backlash between the pinion gear and the sun gear and each backlash between the pinion gear and the ring gear within the first oscillating range.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing a composite-fluoride fluorescent material represented by the general formula A2MF6:Mn4+ (wherein A is at least one alkali metal element including K; M is one or more metallic elements including at least Si or Ge and selected from among Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr, and Hf; F is fluorine; and Mn is manganese). With the production process, it is possible to obtain a fluorescent material which is high in absorptance, internal quantum efficiency, and external quantum efficiency and has excellent optical properties.
