  • Patent number: 11738154
Abstract: Injector devices and methods for using them to deliver medicament into a patient's body, e.g., sub-retinally within an eye, are provided. The injector includes a cartridge including a piston slidably disposed within an interior for delivering medicament within the interior through an outlet, and a driver including a plunger coupled to the piston, a source of pressurized fluid, and an actuator member for opening a flow path at least partially between the source and the plunger to advance the plunger and piston to deliver medicament from the interior. One or more sensors are operatively coupled to the plunger to measure displacement of the plunger, a processor is coupled to the sensor(s) for analyzing sensor signals to measure volume of medicament delivered from the interior, and an output device, e.g., one or more LEDs or speakers, provide outputs related to the volume of medicament delivered.

  • Patent number: 11701254
Abstract: Injector devices and methods for using them to deliver medicament into a patient's body, e.g., sub-retinally within an eye, are provided. The injector includes an injector cannula having a soft injector tip. A retractable tip protector tube is slidably disposed on the flow cannula between an extended position in which the tip protector tube covers the entire injector tip, and a retracted position in which the tip protector tube is retracted proximally thereby exposing at least part of the injector tip. Accordingly, the tip protector tube protects the injector tip from being damaged while advancing the injector tip to a target injection site.

  • Publication number: 20220019686
Abstract: Techniques are described for transaction-based read and write operations in a distributed system. In an embodiment, an authorization protocol overlaid onto a transaction to control access to each of the data pools. Using the techniques described herein, the DTRS provides authorization mechanism to ensure that the entity, which hosts the data pool, may only access the data set from an originating entity based at least upon the access rules of the originating entity set for the data set. Additionally, the DTRS's read/write transactions keep the data pools of the DTRS in synch with each other, so each data pool stores the same data sets as another data pool of the DTRS. When a data integrity service of an entity generates a new data entry from a user transaction with a client application, a new write request is generated for the DTRS to which the data integrity service belongs.

  • Patent number: 10888234
Abstract: A method and system for determining fractional flow reserve (FFR) for a coronary artery stenosis of a patient is disclosed. In one embodiment, medical image data of the patient including the stenosis is received, a set of features for the stenosis is extracted from the medical image data of the patient, and an FFR value for the stenosis is determined based on the extracted set of features using a trained machine-learning based mapping. In another embodiment, a medical image of the patient including the stenosis of interest is received, image patches corresponding to the stenosis of interest and a coronary tree of the patient are detected, an FFR value for the stenosis of interest is determined using a trained deep neural network regressor applied directly to the detected image patches.
