  • Publication number: 20050221649
Abstract: In a connector for memory card used in a mobile equipment, a locking mechanism of a memory card at a card lock position is integrally provided with a push-on/push-off mechanism constituted by a hart-shaped cam and a cam pin, so that the connector can be downsized. A hart-shaped cam groove unit is provided on a contact block fixed on a housing, and an end of a locking member is rotatably borne on a slider which can reciprocally be moved in an inside of the housing. The cam pin is provided on the other end of the locking member, and the cam pin is moved along the hart-shaped cam groove corresponding to reciprocal movement of the slider. Furthermore, a locking protrusion is provided on the locking member for protruding toward the memory card. The hart-shaped cam groove is formed in a manner so that not only the movement of the slider is locked but also the locking protrusion engages with a recess used to be locked provided on the memory card at a card lock position.

  • Patent number: 6945469
Abstract: A fuel injection device is so constructed that fuel fed from a pressure storage chamber to a valve housing (11) with a nozzle (14) is led to a needle valve back pressure chamber (16) through a groove (21) provided on the peripheral surface of a needle valve (17); a fuel pressure in the back pressure chamber (16) is controlled by opening and closing a pressure regulating port (13) provided in the valve housing by a pilot valve (38) so as to move the needle valve, whereby the nozzle is opened and closed. The pressure regulating port is opened and closed by a drive control of the pilot valve with a valve drive unit by means of elongation and contraction of the magnetostrictive rods attributable by the action of an external magnetic field. The magnetostrictive rods, consisting of first and second magnetostrictive rods (34 and 35), are axially arranged side by side in parallel to the pilot valve.

  • Publication number: 20050097530
Abstract: In an identical function definition generation determining step of a template compilation method, dependency between a function definition code and a template parameter is analyzed, and when there is no dependency, a common function is defined and a plurality of function definitions obtained before defining the common function are deleted in a function definition sharing step. Thereafter, a function call obtained before defining the common function is replaced with a call of the common function in a function call replacing step. Accordingly, among a plurality of function definition codes generated from a template, function definition codes generated as the identical code are shared, so as to reduce the code size that generally increases due to template facilities.

  • Patent number: 6819919
Abstract: A system enabling mobile wireless users to obtain information on other proximate users both fixed and wireless. Said information is gathered from a central database that stores user profiles and real-time locations of system users. Mobile users can request information on nearby users by submitting a request from a mobile telephone or similar communications endpoint to the central database. The request is accompanied by the user's location, obtained from GPS (Global Positioning System) or other technology, or from user input. The server searches the profile database for nearby users based on requester's location, locations of other users of the system and optional parameters specified in the request. Search results are returned to the requester. The system facilitates communication between requester and owner(s) of profiles returned by system.
