  • Publication number: 20030048366
Abstract: This invention is to shorten the time of white balance processing. In order to achieve this object, this invention provides an image sensing apparatus including an image sensing section which senses an object image and scans charge of pixels by interlaced-scanning to acquire image data of one frame by two fields, a memory which temporarily sequentially stores the image data output from the image sensing section, and a control section which reads out the image data in a first field and that in a second field from the memory and calculates a white balance coefficient before the image data in the second field is completely read from the image sensing section.

  • Patent number: 6511607
Abstract: An electrical connecting member is provided with a holding member made of an electric insulating material and a plurality of conductive members held by the holding member in a state of being insulated with each other. One end of each of the conductive members is exposed on one surface of the holding member and the other end of each of the conductive members is exposed on the other surface of the holding member. The conductive members have portions exposed from the holding member, the length of which is longer than the thickness of the holding member. These exposed portions are easily deformed by the pressure force exerted at the time of connecting electric circuit components to reduce the coupling load even when there is irregularity in the heights thereof or unevenness in the junctions of the objects connection, hence enabling high density connections between the electric circuit components. The exposed portions can also be formed to have empty holes, i.e.

  • Publication number: 20020186020
Abstract: In an AC module, if an interconnection relay is provided in an inverter, the inverter increases in size, and disconnection status between the AC module and a system upon occurrence of abnormal condition cannot be easily checked by a user. Accordingly, a plug is connected to an outlet, thereby an output of the inverter is supplied to the system or a load via a coupler. If leakage of direct current, ground fault of a solar cell or the like, a fault or abnormal condition of the inverter, or an abnormal condition of the system is detected, the inverter outputs a signal to separate the plug from the coupler.

  • Publication number: 20020167272
Abstract: An EL element including a first electrode, a luminescent layer, an insulation layer, and a second electrode is laminated so that a short circuit between the first electrode and the second electrode at a defect of the insulation layer between the luminescent layer and the second electrode is prevented. A cavity 41 is formed in the layer 4 under an area 51 at which the second insulation layer 5 is missing. • Publication number: 20020130613
Abstract: An EL device is constructed of an insulating substrate, and a first electrode, a first insulating layer, a luminescent layer, a second insulating layer and a second electrode, which are laminated on the insulating substrate in this order. The insulating layer is made by a method other than ALE, for example, sputtering or vapor deposition. The second insulating layer includes alternating layers of Al2O3 and TiO2, which are formed by ALE. The second insulating layer covers the luminescent layer and an end surface of the first insulating layer. Since the first insulating layer is not formed by ALE, the device can be manufactured with high productivity, and there is no less of performance compared to a device having two ALE insulation layers.

  • Publication number: 20020105765
Abstract: In a solar power generation system which causes a non-insulated type inverter to convert DC power generated by a solar battery into AC power and outputs the AC power to a commercial power system, in detecting a ground fault, the differential current between the output lines of the solar battery is detected, an AC leakage current component due to the capacitance to ground of the solar battery is removed from the differential current, and it is determined whether a ground fault state has occurred by comparing a current value after removal of the AC leakage current component with a predetermined threshold value. With this arrangement, a false ground fault state determination that is caused by the influence of the AC leakage current component due to the electrostatic capacitance although the DC current path can be prevented, and a ground fault state can accurately be determined.

  • Publication number: 20020095934
Abstract: In the rotary pump, a high pressure outer circumference chamber, which is formed around an outer circumference of an outer rotor and communicates with a discharge port, presses radially inward first defined parts among the outer circumference of the outer rotor that are positioned radially outside second defined parts adjacent to teeth gap portions whose volume are largest and smallest among teeth gap portions communicating with an intake port. Teeth top clearance between the outer and inner rotors at the second defined part is reduced due to pressure difference between the discharge pressure applied to the first defined parts and the intake pressure applied to the second defined parts.

  • Publication number: 20020067628
Abstract: An AC interconnection apparatus has an input terminal for a commercial power system, a connection terminal to a solar cell, an output terminal connected to a load, an inverter for converting the output voltage of the solar cell into an AC voltage, and a current detector arranged on the load side of an AC connection point for connecting the AC output from the inverter and the commercial power. When a power value calculated on the basis of a current detection value by the current detector and the voltage of the commercial power system is less than the output power of the inverter, the output of the inverter is suppressed, thereby suppressing reverse power flow to the commercial power system. When the current value detected by the current detector exceeds a predetermined value, power supply to the load is stopped using a breaker.

  • Patent number: 6389353
Abstract: An electronic control apparatus for engines has a memory and a processing unit. The processing unit executes various processing routines while accessing the memory in a predetermined access speed or wait-time. The routines include a rotation interrupt routine which is initiated in synchronized relation with a rotation of an engine. The memory access speed of the processing unit is set initially to a low speed, when an ignition switch is turned on to start a power supply to the processing unit. However, it is changed to a high access speed, when a rotation speed of the engine increases and a rate of execution of the interrupt routine by the processing unit increases.

  • Publication number: 20020038667
Abstract: AC module, integrating a solar battery and an inverter, can easily be connected with other plural AC modules in parallel by way of cascade connections. However, when the number of AC modules connected is improvidently increased, the current flowing through the current path or connector of the AC module exceeds a rated current. In view of this, the current detector detects a current in the collective-power current path of the AC module, and when the detected current value exceeds a value set in the reference current setting circuit, the current detector stops the inverter.

  • Patent number: 6356289
Abstract: Toner is placed on to the image-forming surface and then is transferred onto the image-carrying medium based upon adhesion force. A sharp image is formed without suffering from the dispersion of toner during the transfer process. In addition, the adhesion force-based image forming device is simpler in construction and advantageously produces substantially no ozone. One preferred embodiment transfers heat sensitive toner to an image-carrying medium by increasing the adhesion force of the toner and almost simultaneously decreasing the adhesion force of the image-forming surface with the raised temperature.
