  • Patent number: 6109879
Abstract: A fluid pressure source apparatus includes a pump, an accumulator for receiving pressure from the pump, a pressure switch for detecting the pressure in the accumulator, an electric motor for driving the pump, and a motor control device for driving the motor when the pressure switch detects a low pressure. A current detecting device detects a motor current value of the motor and a control unit determines whether the accumulator or the motor is experiencing an abnormality based on the motor current value. The control unit determines whether the motor current value occurring during a first set time following the start of driving of the motor is greater than a first set value. If the motor current value is not greater than the first set value, the control unit determines that the current detecting device is experiencing an abnormality. If there is no such abnormality information, the control unit compares the motor current value with predetermined values.

  • Patent number: 6055085
Abstract: The invention relates to a photocatalytic glass pane including (a) a glass substrate having (1) major surfaces that are substantially parallel with and opposed to each other and (2) an edge surface that connects the major surfaces together; (b) a photocatalytic film formed on at least one of the major surfaces of the glass substrate; and (c) a light source for exciting the photocatalytic film. A light from the light source enters the glass substrate from its edge surface and then is reflected totally within the glass pane. Another photocatalytic glass pane of the invention is substantially the same as the above, except that the light enters the glass substrate from its peripheral surface. It is optional to form a prism on the peripheral surface. Alternatively, the peripheral surface may be inclined such that the glass substrate is tapered at a position of the peripheral surface. With this, the light is totally reflected within the another glass pane, too.

  • Patent number: 6002428
Abstract: A motion vector detection circuit includes a registration determining switch which sets a first registration determination mode wherein at an initial field, correlation values are evaluated by a correlator on the basis of integrated color data of a specific detection block being stored in a representative color memory and integrated color data of twenty-five (25) detection blocks being stored in an integrated color memory. A comparison circuit compares the correlation values with a predetermined threshold value, and if a condition that the threshold value is larger than the correlation value is satisfied in each of eighty (80) percents or more detection blocks, the integrated color data stored in the representative color memory is registered as a representative color of an object, and otherwise, no registration is performed.
