  • Patent number: 5874204
Abstract: The disclosed process for rejuvenation treatment of a photoresist development waste mainly containing a photoresist and tetraalkylammonium (TAA) ions comprises at least the step of concentration of TAA ions by electrodialysis and/or electrolysis, and the step of removal of impurities ?(residual) photoresist, other anionic components, cationic components such as Na.sup.+, etc.! by adsorption thereof on an ion exchange resin (preferably an anion exchange resin and/or a cation exchange resin in at least one of the hydrogen ion form and the TAA ion form) through contact therebetween, whereby a high-purity solution of a tetraalkylammonium hydroxide reutilizable as a photoresist developer can be simply and efficiently regenerated and recovered from the photoresist development waste. The step of concentration by evaporation and/or reverse osmosis membrane treatment may desirably be taken at least before electrodialysis and/or electrolysis from the standpoint of treatment cost reduction.

  • Patent number: 5817408
Abstract: The invention relates to a sound insulating structure including low-density and high-density layers. The low-density layer has first and second fibrous layers and ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 kg/m.sup.2 in surface density. The first and second fibrous layers are respectively made of first and second thermoplastic synthetic fibers. The first and second fibers respectively have first and second single fiber diameters, each of which diameters is in a range of from 3 to 40 .mu.m, and first and second fiber lengths, each of which lengths is in a range of from 10 to 100 mm. The high-density layer is formed on the low-density layer and is made of an air-impermeable polymer material and has a surface density that is higher than that of the low-density layer and ranges from 1 to 10 kg/m.sup.2. The low-density layer is high in sound-absorption coefficient and at the same time low in spring constant. Therefore, the sound insulating structure becomes substantially improved in sound insulating capability.

  • Patent number: 5796652
Abstract: A non-volatile semiconductor memory configured to be able to write a multi-value information into a memory cell, comprises a memory cell array composed of a number of memory cell transistors. First and second write circuits receive first and second quaternary input data, and generate first and second writing bit line voltages having a level corresponding to the value of the first and second quaternary input data, respectively. A column selection circuit selects first and second bit lines from a number of bit lines of the memory cell array, in accordance with a row address signal, and for simultaneously supplies the first and second writing bit line voltages to the selected first and second bit lines, respectively, at the time of the writing. Thus, two items of quaternary data can be simultaneously written into two memory cell transistors included in memory cell transistors of one row selected by one word line.

  • Patent number: 5757699
Abstract: On programming a selected memory cell of a nonvolatile semiconductor memory, first programming (S11) of the selected memory cell is made by applying a first programming pulse to the selected memory cell to make the selected memory cell have a programmed threshold voltage (Vtm). First verification (S12) is made whether the selected memory cell has the programmed threshold voltage which is not greater than a first predetermined upper limit voltage (Vt1). When the selected memory cell has the programmed threshold voltage greater than the Vt1, the first programming is again made. When the selected memory cell has the programmed threshold voltage not greater than the Vt1, second verification (S13) is made whether the selected memory cell has the programmed threshold voltage which is not greater than a second predetermined upper limit voltage (Vt10) less than the Vt1.

  • Patent number: 5636099
Abstract: A variable capacitor for a high frequency circuit of an electrical appliance includes a chip capacitor mounted on a multilayer circuit board and interdigital capacitors formed at inner layers of the circuit board. A wiring pattern for soldering the chip capacitor is connected with the interdigital capacitors via through holes formed in the circuit board. Capacitance select portions are cut so that the capacitance best-suited to the circuit is obtained. The through holes connected to the interdigital capacitors of the inner layer are selectively disconnected from the wiring pattern for soldering the chip capacitor, thereby obtaining a variable capacitor capable of absorbing fluctuations of the circuit for selecting the best-suited capacitance.

  • Patent number: 5617361
Abstract: A non-volatile semiconductor memory (flash memory) has a row selection section for selecting a word line for a row of a memory transistor in a programming period and a column section section for selecting a plurality of bit lines in cyclic order in the programming period, so that the writing control section programs the memory transistors arranged in the row in one programming period. The length of time for programming the memory transistors in each of the columns is set precisely at a first period. The resultant threshold voltage of the memory transistors programmed in this way has a reduced variation among the memory transistors, so that a reliable programming can be effected.

  • Patent number: 5528011
Abstract: A C-type welding gun capable of accurately operating irrespective of the posture of the C-type welding gun without forcibly pressing electrodes to a workpiece and without considering thickness of the workpiece, wear of electrodes, etc. The C-type welding gun includes two servomotors attached to a housing, a C-shaped arm fixed to the housing and a movable arm provided in the housing. A mechanism for converting the rotation of the output shaft of one servomotor into the reciprocal motion of the movable arm is housed in the housing. A mechanism for converting the rotation of the output shaft of the other servomotor into the reciprocal motion of the C-shaped arm is provided between the wrist of the robot and the housing. Both the servomotors are simultaneously actuated while the other servomotor is stopped in response to the signal representing the contact of the electrode of the C-shaped arm to the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 4981900
Abstract: The invention relates to EPDM rubber seals for use in hydraulic cylinders such as the cylinders of automotive brake and clutch systems. Using an EPDM rubber composition carefully formulated so as to be good in kneadability, rubber seals having good resistance to yielding or loss of resiliency by fatigue as well as sufficient strength and elongation are obtained. Essential components of the rubber composition are 100 parts by weight of EPDM coplymer rubber, 30-80 parts by weight of carbon black and 1-5 parts by weight of a peroxide as cross-linking agent. It is important to use an EPDM copolymer in which the distribution of ethylene is uneven such that the content of ethylene is highest in a fraction highest in molecular weight and is lowest in another fraction lowest in molecular weight. The difference in ethylene content between these two fractions of the copolymer should be more than 5 wt % and not more than 9 wt %.

  • Patent number: 4562238
Abstract: The invention provides an improvement of a room temperature-curable silicone rubber composition cured by the mechanism of the condensation reaction between terminal silanolic hydroxy groups of a diorganopolysiloxane and an organosilicon compound having at least three alkoxy groups per molecule in the presence of an organotin compound as a catalyst to form crosslinks in respect of the remarkably small permanent compression set as well as excellent heat resistance of the cured rubbery elastomer thereof. Different from conventional compositions of the above mentioned type containing some organotin compound as the curing catalyst, the inventive composition preferably contains very specific organotin compound as the curing catalyst, which is represented by the general formula R.sub.2 R.sup.1 Sn-O-SnR.sup.1 R.sub.2 or R.sub.2 SnR.sub.2.sup.1, in which R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group and R.sup.1 is an acid residue of a monoalkyl ester of a dibasic carboxylic acid such as MeOCOCH.dbd.
