User experience with wearable devices may be enhanced through tailored views for communications, calendar items, actions associated with those, where the views and presentations may be dynamically selected and adjusted based on context, user, location, and device capabilities. Smart notifications and user-friendly note taking functionality may be enabled also based on context, user, location, and device capabilities. Other scenarios may be unlocked based on proximity and/or sensor data.

The summary is relocated to the top location of the date section of the summary pane to display the first summary at the top location of the date section during the reorder time.

In one example, a computer application is executed on a computing device to provide a graphical user interface having a background containing multiple interface regions separate from one another and individually having a corresponding data source. Upon receiving a command from a user, the executed computer application can customize the graphical user interface by modifying a size, a relative placement, a data source, or a format of one or more of the multiple interface regions in accordance with the command from the user, and thus allowing customization of the graphical user interface.

Abstract: Prioritized and categorized presentation of incoming communications is provided based on characteristics of the communications such as sender, recipients, subject, body content, recipient's past interactions, and similar ones. User or administrator defined explicit rules and configurations may be taken into consideration along with analysis results of incoming communication attributes and user history in determining a category and a priority level for the incoming communication. The incoming communication may then be presented according to the determined category and priority level along with tools for the recipient to modify automatic determinations and otherwise interact with the communication.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating suggested calendar events within an electronic calendar. One system includes an electronic processor configured to access a plurality of data records associated with a user and generate and output an electronic calendar of the user, the electronic calendar including a representation of at least one of the plurality of calendar events. The electronic processor is also configured to determine a suggested calendar event for the user and generate and output a representation of the suggested calendar event within the electronic calendar. The electronic processor is also configured to, in response to the user accepting the suggested calendar event, add a data record for the suggested calendar event to the plurality of data records associated with the user and generate and output an updated version of the electronic calendar of the user based on the plurality of data records.

The item type of the new draft item may be different than other item types in the primary work queue.

Abstract: A meeting service with meeting time and location optimization is described. In some examples, organizer and attendee behaviors may be analyzed and used as contextual factors in computing ranking scores for potential meeting times. To optimize a meeting for the attendees (including the organizer), potential meeting times and locations may be ranked based on weighted coefficients for the factors that are used in ranking such as attendee schedules, preferences, meeting type, location attributes, attendee preferences for locations, and extraneous factors such as events and other happenings that may impact availability or access of attendees as well as meeting locations.

A calendar application initiates operations to provide meeting time polling upon processing an availability information associated with a meeting organizer and/or a meeting invitee to provide suggested timeslot(s). Selected timeslot(s) are received as a selection from the suggested timeslot(s) by the meeting organizer. The selected timeslots are transmitted to the meeting invitee for prompting the meeting invitee for a vote. Next, voted timeslots are received as a selection from the selected timeslot(s) by the meeting invite. The voted timeslot(s) are provided to the meeting organizer for prompting the meeting organizer to finalize the meeting.
