Abstract: An image capture system including two imaging systems of the same structure each having a wide-angle lens, which includes a front group, a reflection surface, and a rear group arranged in order from an object side, has a field angle larger than 180 degrees, and bends an optical axis of the front group toward the rear group by the reflection surface, and an imaging sensor, obtains an image in a solid angle of 4? radian by combining images imaged by the imaging systems. Each of the two wide-angle lenses includes the reflection surface between the front group and the rear group, the reflection surfaces are made to be common to the two imaging systems. This reduces an interval between lenses nearest to the object side in the front groups of the two wide-angle lenses, thereby reducing a distance between maximum field angles of the two wide-angle lenses.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a highly reliable semiconductor device that allows voids remaining in a bonding material to be reduced. The semiconductor device includes a semiconductor chip, an insulation substrate, a metal base plate, a resin section, and a bump. The semiconductor chip is warped into a concave shape. On the insulation substrate, the semiconductor chip is mounted by bonding. The metal base plate has the insulation substrate mounted thereon and has a heat dissipation property. The resin section seals the insulation substrate and the semiconductor chip. The bump is disposed in a joint between the semiconductor chip and the insulation substrate. A warp amount of the semiconductor chip warped into a concave shape is equal to or greater than 1 ?m and less than a height of the bump.

The multilayer piezoelectric element can offer excellent insulating property.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a scanner device and an image forming apparatus body to which the scanner device is attached. The scanner device has a document inlet and a document outlet respectively formed in mutually opposed surfaces thereof, and is configured to read an image of a document fed thereinto through the document inlet and discharge the document through the document outlet. The scanner device is detachably attached to a top surface of the image forming apparatus body. The top surface of the image forming apparatus body functions as a guide surface guiding the document when the scanner device is used.

Generation of collimated light and transmission of part of the collimated light through a transmission filter having a light-blocking face provided with circular holes arranged regularly, causes conversion to rays of columnar collimated light arranged regularly. An image including the rays of columnar collimated light arranged regularly, is captured by an image pickup element being inspected. Then, acquisition of the difference between the image captured by the image pickup element being inspected and an ideal image captured by an ideal image pickup element and comparison between the difference and a threshold, result in inspection of the performance of the image pickup element being inspected The present disclosure can be applied to the manufacturing of an image pickup device.
