  • Patent number: 6965380
Abstract: A user interface for analyzing multiple dimension data, with which a great number of multiple dimension data sets can be easily and intuitively analyzed and edited. At the least, data having two dimensions are selected from among multiple dimension data. Then, the selected data are assigned to respective coordinate axes so that the coordinate axes cross each other, or intersect each other if two-dimensional data are selected. The coordinate axes are divided, using a predetermined threshold value, into a number of segments, and these segments are assembled to define composite areas for all the coordinate axes. Data are displayed in each of the composite areas in order to enable analysis and editing of multiple dimension data. As a result, in the preferred embodiment, a great number of multiple dimension data sets can be easily and intuitively analyzed and edited.

  • Patent number: 6955475
Abstract: A bearing apparatus for a driving wheel of vehicle for rotatably supporting the driving wheel relative to a body of a vehicle has a wheel hub, integrally formed with a wheel mounting flange, a constant velocity universal joint and a double row rolling bearing assembled as a unit. A separate inner ring is press fitted onto a cylindrical portion of the wheel hub. An outer joint member of the constant velocity universal joint is fitted within the wheel hub. The bore surface of the wheel hub is formed with a hardened irregular portion. The wheel hub and the outer joint member are integrally connected with making the hardened irregular portion of the wheel hub bite into the outer circumferential surface at a fitting portion of the outer joint member by radially outwardly expanding the fitting portion of the outer joint member. The hardness of the bore surface of the fitting portion of the outer joint member is higher than that of the core portion of the fitting portion of the outer joint member.

  • Publication number: 20040234182
Abstract: A compact bearing device for a drive wheel is provided, which removes backlash within the joint between a wheel hub and a constant velocity universal joint, and increases the rigidity of the bearing device. There is provided a drive wheel bearing device in which a wheel hub and a double-row bearing are integrated into a single unit, and an outer joint member of a constant velocity universal joint is engaged inside the unit via a serrated section. In this structure, at least one of the inner races of the double-row bearing is formed on a separate inner ring engaged onto the wheel hub, irregularities are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the wheel hub, and radial expansion swaging of the wheel hub is used to cause the irregularities to bite into the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring, thereby fastening the wheel hub and the inner ring together through a plastic deformation section.

  • Publication number: 20040220950
Abstract: The present invention provides a technique for measuring the efficiency of components in a computer. An echo server is provided which comprises several units. A socket generation unit generates a receiving server socket on the basis of information on a correspondence between a plurality of components in a computer. And generates a client socket that is a dedicated socket inheriting information of the receiving server socket when data is transmitted. A stream acquisition unit acquires a transmission path for acquiring data transmitted and received between components. A thread generation unit generates a transmission path by coupling streams. A transfer execution unit transfers data acquired via a thread to an original destination component. Using these units, the technique monitors and running verifies behavior by observing data running on the network.

  • Publication number: 20040171428
Abstract: A wheel bearing device having a unitized hub ring, double-row bearing and constant velocity universal joint with one of double-row inner raceways formed on the joint outer ring. An end portion of the joint outer ring is fitted to an outside periphery of the hub ring through serrated portions. The hub ring is plastically deformed and expanded from an inside diameter side toward an outside diameter side by pushing a steel ball into a through hole of the hub ring preventing play in the serrated portions by the diameter expansion. A surface-hardened layer is formed at least on a base portion of the wheel mounting flange.

  • Patent number: 6594583
Abstract: An image pick-up means mounted in the motor vehicle picks up a side direction of a driver's own vehicle. An approaching object detecting means detects an approaching degree of an approaching object which approaches his own vehicle from a side direction road crossing his own vehicle on the basis of two images picked up at two timings apart by a prescribed interval by the image pick-up means. A danger decision means decides a danger on the basis of the approaching degree. In such a configuration, a side-monitoring apparatus for a motor vehicle can accurately know the danger of collision with the object approaching from the side direction road.
