  • Publication number: 20070068360
Abstract: A hammer with simplified structure and reduced costs that maintains its capability as a mass body to impart a touch weight. The hammer is configured such that it is possible to fix the two mass plates to the metal base plate by means of a single rivet. Therefore, the number of places in which the rivet holes are drilled and disposed in both mass plates and the metal base plate are kept to a minimum, and it is possible to limit the lightening of the weight of both mass plates and the metal base plate by that amount. As a result, since it is possible to configure the base plates and the metal base plate with smaller dimensions while maintaining the required weight, the capability as a mass body to impart a touch weight can be maintained while preventing the enlarging of the hammer overall.

  • Patent number: 7168244
Abstract: When an engine cooling water temperature (Tw) detected by a cooling water temperature detection means (37C) exceeds a predetermined judgment water temperatures (Tw1 and Tw2) during the forced regeneration control of a filter using exhaust gas temperature raising means (351C), the actuation of the exhaust gas temperature raising means (351C) is interrupted. Thereby, in the case of the exhaust gas purification system having a DPF apparatus (13), it is possible to prevent a water temperature meter in a driver seat from abnormally rising during the forced regeneration of a DPF (13b) and to prevent a driver from taking the abnormal rise of the water temperature meter for an engine trouble.

  • Publication number: 20060257698
Abstract: In a fuel cell system in which load electric power is supplied from a fuel cell and a secondary battery, intermittent operation is performed, that is, operation of the fuel cell is stopped and the load electric power is supplied from the secondary battery in a low load region. At this time, a threshold value for stopping and starting the operation of the fuel cell is adjusted according to open circuit voltage. Thus, it is possible to prevent fuel from being unnecessarily consumed in order to maintain the open circuit voltage at a predetermined value when the operation of the fuel cell is stopped, and to improve response of the fuel cell when the operation of the fuel cell is restarted after the open circuit voltage has decreased in the fuel cell that has stopped generating electric power.

  • Patent number: 7133085
Abstract: A display control apparatus has a display panel, which is placed in its inactive state through a user's operation when not being used, on the one hand, and is placed in is active state when being used, on the other hand. After completing the display of video, the display panel is received automatically, thus ensuring protection of the display panel. It also prevents a beginning part of video from being hidden for a user. All video can be displayed on the display panel that stands up in its prescribed active state. In the display control apparatus, a rotary motor driver and a slider motor driver are used for placing the display panel received in a receiver. An encoder detects whether or not the display panel is placed in its prescribed active state. When the active state of the display panel is detected, an output controller outputs a video signal to the display panel for display.

  • Publication number: 20060219085
Abstract: A keyboard apparatus that can be manufactured with a simple process at a low cost while still providing the feeling and appearance of high quality. In one embodiment of the invention, side surfaces of the white keys in the keyboard apparatus comprises a grained portion with a wood grain pattern. In this embodiment, when a white key is pressed down, the grained portion is visible from the side to give the appearance that the white keys are made from wood with a layer of white resin on the top and front surface. In another embodiment of the invention, a lower surface of a front end portion of the white keys is packed with a material such as resin. With this embodiment, when a performer's fingernail hits the top surface of the white keys while using the keyboard apparatus, the production of an unpleasant sound can be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20060207813
Abstract: A battery and a capacitor having a large capacity correspond to a power storage device for storing power used by a motor generator MG2. A controller detects state of charge of the battery and of the capacitor. When the driver issues an instruction requesting acceleration, the controller monitors the state of charge of the power storage device, and the controller instructs an inverter to increase contribution of the motor generator MG1 to an acceleration operation when the state of charge is insufficient to be larger than the contribution of the motor generator MG1 to the acceleration operation when the state of charge is sufficient. Thus a hybrid vehicle can be provided that allows a driver to feel smooth acceleration even if the power storage device is insufficiently charged.
