  • Patent number: 7028792
Abstract: A maximum output of a fuel cell and a capacitance of a capacitor are set so as to be near a point at which a lower limit (a solid line “A” in FIG. 2) of a range in which a first condition is satisfied intersects a lower limit (a dashed line “B” in FIG. 2) of a range in which a second condition is satisfied. In the first condition, full acceleration at start time for obtaining a predetermined high vehicle speed by starting a vehicle at the maximum acceleration required of the vehicle can be repeatedly performed. In the second condition, full acceleration at a medium vehicle speed for increasing a vehicle speed from a medium vehicle speed by approximately 30 km/h at the maximum acceleration required of the vehicle can be repeatedly performed. Then, the fuel cell and the capacitor of this performance are mounted on the electric vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20060064850
Abstract: To provide a hinge which achieve durability, good feeling, size and weight reduction, for portable phones or laptop computers which require to be smaller and lighter. A hinge mechanism that generates a stress at the start and end points of arbitrary opening and closing range can be constructed by causing one cam set of two cam sets in which a rotating cam 4 and a fixed cam 5 engage only one time in 360° to generate a stress at the start point of the rotating range or opening and closing range of the hinge mechanism, and causing the other cam set to generate a stress at the end point of the rotating or opening and closing range. The hinge mechanism of the present invention achieves durability, good feeling, and size and weight reduction.

  • Patent number: 7002548
Abstract: A drive controller for controlling to change the orientation of a display surface of a display in accordance with the seating position of occupants aboard a vehicle. A display unit is rotatably mounted on a vehicle. A controller automatically rotates the display unit to a first position where the display surface is oriented toward a driver seat, when an occupant is seated solely in the driver seat. The controller rotates the display unit to a third position where the display surface is oriented toward a front passenger seat, when an occupant is seated solely in the front passenger seat. The controller rotates the display unit to a second position where the display surface is oriented toward the middle point between the driver seat and the front passenger seat, on detecting both of the occupants are seated respectively in the driver seat and the front passenger seat.

  • Patent number: 6995755
Abstract: A display controller for controlling display on a display surface of a display unit mounted on a vehicle. The display unit is rotatably mounted on the vehicle. A CPU of a controller recognizing that the vehicle is traveling, that a display surface of a display unit is oriented toward the driver's seat, and that a moving picture is displayed on the display surface, inhibits display of the moving picture on the display unit. The CPU of the controller, recognizing that the vehicle is traveling, that the display surface of the display unit is oriented toward the driver's seat, and that a moving picture is displayed on the display surface rotates the display unit to a position where an occupant of the driver's seat cannot watch the moving picture.

  • Publication number: 20060000201
Abstract: When an engine cooling water temperature (Tw) detected by a cooling water temperature detection means (37C) exceeds a predetermined judgment water temperatures (Tw1 and Tw2) during the forced regeneration control of a filter using exhaust gas temperature raising means (351C), the actuation of the exhaust gas temperature raising means (351C) is interrupted. Thereby, in the case of the exhaust gas purification system having a DPF apparatus (13), it is possible to prevent a water temperature meter in a driver seat from abnormally rising during the forced regeneration of a DPF (13b) and to prevent a driver from taking the abnormal rise of the water temperature meter for an engine trouble.

  • Patent number: 6923621
Abstract: To suppress degradation of the pump efficiency while preventing the diffuser from stalling on a turbo pump Opening 48 is provided at a specified position in the cord length direction of vane 42 of diffuser 44. Opening 48 communicates with the adjacent diffuser flow passage to form a flow circulating to the entrance of the diffuser via this opening 48 when the flow rate drops, thus to prevent stalling by increasing the apparent flow rate. The size of opening 48 is also adjusted in correspondence with the operating condition of said pump. The size of opening 48 should be adjusted to be small enough not to case stalling at the lowest flow rate expected by test operating the pump. The efficiency degradation due to the provision of the opening can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20050014978
Abstract: In an exhaust gas purifying system wherein an NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst (30) including a catalytic metal and an NOx occluding substance is installed in an exhaust passage (3) of an engine (10), a restore processing against the sulfur poisoning of the NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst (30) is executed, by performing a lax rich control for controlling the air/fuel ratio of the exhaust gas to the theoretical air/fuel ratio or slightly lower than the theoretical air/fuel ratio, when the NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst (30) is heated equal or superior to the sulfur purge temperature. NOx is purified up effectively, by excluding effects of the sulfur poisoning, suppressing the deterioration of fuel-efficiency, by the control method for exhaust gas purifying system.

  • Patent number: 6837563
Abstract: A method and device for image processing free from full loss of an entire vector in a halftone image relatively low in density. An N*N mask matrix is generated for a given density, based on an N*N dither matrix used in an area gradation method which represents a halftone image with binary (bi-level) image data from multi-level image data. In a case of N*N mask matrix relatively low in density, rearrangements on a column and row basis are performed (N*N?1) times to generate (N*N?1) number of N*N mask matrices which are then combined with the original N*N mask matrix to form an (N*N)*(N*N) mask matrix. Thus, for a halftone image relatively low in density, a binary halftone image is generated via the (N*N)*(N*N) mask matrix from multi-level image data.

  • Publication number: 20040261598
Abstract: A hammer with simplified structure and reduced costs that maintains its capability as a mass body to impart a touch weight. The hammer is configured such that it is possible to fix the two mass plates to the metal base plate by means of a single rivet. Therefore, the number of places in which the rivet holes are drilled and disposed in both mass plates and the metal base plate are kept to a minimum, and it is possible to limit the lightening of the weight of both mass plates and the metal base plate by that amount. As a result, since it is possible to configure the base plates and the metal base plate with smaller dimensions while maintaining the required weight, the capability as a mass body to impart a touch weight can be maintained while preventing the enlarging of the hammer overall.
