  • Patent number: 7576273
Abstract: A hammer with simplified structure and reduced costs that maintains its capability as a mass body to impart a touch weight. The hammer is configured such that it is possible to fix the two mass plates to the metal base plate by means of a single rivet. Therefore, the number of places in which the rivet holes are drilled and disposed in both mass plates and the metal base plate are kept to a minimum, and it is possible to limit the lightening of the weight of both mass plates and the metal base plate by that amount. As a result, since it is possible to configure the base plates and the metal base plate with smaller dimensions while maintaining the required weight, the capability as a mass body to impart a touch weight can be maintained while preventing the enlarging of the hammer overall.

  • Publication number: 20090160469
Abstract: In an electrical connecting apparatus, a thermal deformation restriction member, a reinforcing plate, and an auxiliary member are made of materials having smaller thermal expansion coefficients in this order, and a wiring board supporting a probe assembly is coupled with the reinforcing plate. The auxiliary member has a void inside the coupling region with the reinforcing plate. The void receives the deformed part when the center portion of the wiring board is deformed toward the reinforcing plate. Thus, the thermal deformation restriction member, the reinforcing plate, and the auxiliary member function as a three-layer bimetal having a sandwich structure, and the thermal deformation of the wiring board is restricted effectively.

  • Patent number: 7550861
Abstract: Upon power failure of a commercial power source, an automatic switching device switches to power supply from a hybrid vehicle. An ECU of the vehicle, when receiving a request for generation of a commercial AC voltage, sets an upper-limit power generation amount based on a remaining amount of fuel. The ECU transmits the upper-limit power generation amount via an antenna to an on-premises ECU, while controlling a power generation amount based on the upper-limit power generation amount. The on-premises, when receiving the upper-limit power generation amount, controls the load state such that commercial AC power is supplied firstly to a first load of priority level 1, according to proprieties registered in advance, and such that the amount of the power supplied to the electric loads does not exceed the upper-limit power generation amount.

  • Patent number: 7550664
Abstract: A keyboard apparatus that can be manufactured with a simple process at a low cost while still providing the feeling and appearance of high quality. In one embodiment of the invention, side surfaces of the white keys in the keyboard apparatus comprises a grained portion with a wood grain pattern. In this embodiment, when a white key is pressed down, the grained portion is visible from the side to give the appearance that the white keys are made from wood with a layer of white resin on the top and front surface. In another embodiment of the invention, a lower surface of a front end portion of the white keys is packed with a material such as resin. With this embodiment, when a performer's fingernail hits the top surface of the white keys while using the keyboard apparatus, the production of an unpleasant sound can be avoided.

  • Patent number: 7398844
Abstract: A battery and a capacitor having a large capacity correspond to a power storage device for storing power used by a motor generator MG2. A controller detects state of charge of the battery and of the capacitor. When the driver issues an instruction requesting acceleration, the controller monitors the state of charge of the power storage device, and the controller instructs an inverter to increase contribution of the motor generator MG1 to an acceleration operation when the state of charge is insufficient to be larger than the contribution of the motor generator MG1 to the acceleration operation when the state of charge is sufficient. Thus a hybrid vehicle can be provided that allows a driver to feel smooth acceleration even if the power storage device is insufficiently charged.
