  • Patent number: 11197827
Abstract: Polynucleotides such as DNA are stored inside vesicles formed from self-assembling membranes. The vesicles may be protocells, liposomes, micelles, colloidosomes, proteinosomes, or coacervates. The vesicles may include surface functionalization to improve polynucleotide encapsulation and/or to bind polynucleotides having specific sequences. Encapsulation in vesicles provides protection for the polynucleotides. Additional protection is provided by addition of one or more stabilizers. The stabilizer may be nucleic-acid stabilizers that stabilize the polynucleotides or may be a protective structural layer around the vesicles such as a layer of silica. A process for stably storing polynucleotides in vesicles and a process for recovering stored polynucleotides from vesicles are both disclosed. The polynucleotides may be used for storage of digital information.

  • Patent number: 11192086
Abstract: Reagents and solvents used for polymer synthesis are reused or recycled rather than discarded. The outflow from each step of polymer synthesis may be collected separately in one of multiple dedicated containers. Reuse returns the outflow from a step of polymer synthesis back to an input of a polymer synthesizer for subsequent use in that same step. Recycling processes the outflow from one or more steps of polymer synthesis to restore original concentrations or purity levels for use in a later synthesis run. Quality control analysis may determine if outflow collected from a polymer synthesizer is reused or recycled. These techniques reduce reagent cost and waste quantity. These techniques may be used with phosphoramidite or enzyme-based synthesis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).

  • Publication number: 20210365996
Abstract: A dynamically regulated advertising delivery control system. A campaign is operated by sending bids to an exchange responsive to receiving bid requests from the exchange, each bid request representing an opportunity to expose a browser to content. Won bid notifications are received from the exchange and exposure notifications are received from exposed browsers. Failed exposures are detected by detecting won bid notification identifiers without corresponding exposure notification identifiers. Responsive to the failed exposures exceeding an upper limit, the campaign is operated in a throttled mode by sending bids to the exchange in response to a fraction of the suitable bid requests received from the exchange and ignoring some suitable bid requests. Responsive to detecting successful exposures in the throttled mode, the operation of the campaign is dynamically regulated by increasing the fraction.

  • Publication number: 20210357441
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for providing a response to a user query. Reception of a user query is detected. An augmentation machine learning model is utilized to determine one or more variations of the user query that correspond to a semantic meaning of the user query. A plurality of response candidates is determined that correspond to the user query by comparing the user query and the one or more variations of the user query to a plurality of documents. A final response candidate is determined from the plurality of response candidates based on utilizing a semantic machine learning model to perform a semantic comparison between the plurality of response candidates and at least the user query.

  • Patent number: 11139654
Abstract: A power output control and compensation (PCC) circuit operates within a distributed energy resource (DER) system. The PCC circuit is located in a battery power conversion system (PCS) and includes an input terminal to connect with a power source and an output terminal to connect with an electrical panel or load. A current sensing device is coupled between the input and the output terminals to measure a power level of the power source. A relay is coupled between the current sensing device and the output terminal and a processor selectively connects power from the power source to the electrical panel or the load based on the measured power level or based on other power measurements within the DER system. PCS-control of multiple power sources decreases cycle times for controlling distributed energy resources.

  • Publication number: 20210304741
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for translating informal utterances into formal texts. Informal utterances may include words in abbreviation forms or typographical errors. The informal utterances may be processed by mapping each word in an utterance into a well-defined token. The mapping from the words to the tokens may be based on a context associated with the utterance derived by analyzing the utterance in a character-by-character basis. The token that is mapped for each word can be one of a vocabulary token that corresponds to a formal word in a pre-defined word corpus, an unknown token that corresponds to an unknown word, or a masked token. Formal text may then be generated based on the mapped tokens. Through the processing of informal utterances using the techniques disclosed herein, the informal utterances are both normalized and sanitized.

  • Publication number: 20210290695
Abstract: The composition is an herbal supplement comprised of hydrolyzed whole soybean, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, lactic acid bacteria, the mushroom, Auricularia polytricha, and turmeric. The soybean feeds the bacterial components of the composition to increase their biomass. The Bacillus amyloliquefaciens produces protease and amylase enzymes which hydrolyze the proteins and carbohydrates in the soybean into smaller peptides and oligosaccharides. These smaller nutrients are more easily absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract. The lactic acid bacteria are probiotics which limit the growth of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in the composition thus balancing the gastrointestinal microbiome. The mushroom, Auricularia polytricha enhances blood flow, removes toxins from the bowel, stabilizes the digestive system and enhances digestion. Turmeric is an antioxidant, anti-ulcer, anti-bacteria (including the suppression of Helicobacter pylori bacteria), anti-inflammatory.

  • Publication number: 20210295448
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying eligibility and contribution level for services and/or products across multiple insurance platforms for provisioning benefit (and non-benefit) services and products to a patient. Benefits plan details for a plurality of benefit plans, and from a plurality of insurers or benefits management entities can be acquired and mapped to an inventory of products and/or services by one or more service providers. Business logic derived from the benefits plan details and the business logic can be used to read a personal benefits plan of an individual and determine personalized pricing for one or more of the inventory products. The benefit plan details and provider inventory items are correlated for a particular patient to render in near real-time available benefits, corresponding services, and patient-borne costs based directly on the benefits plan under which the particular patient may be covered.
