  • Publication number: 20230306061
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to automatically generating and analyzing database queries. In various embodiments, a database inquiry assistance system maintains a first machine learning model trained using query history data for a database and a second machine learning model using analysis history for the database. In an embodiment, the system receives from a user system a request for an inquiry into data stored in the database and identifies a sequence of queries for responding to the request, where identifying the sequence of queries includes applying the second machine learning model to the request. The system generates corresponding database query code for implementing one or more of the queries in the sequence of queries, where generating the corresponding database query code includes applying the first machine learning model to descriptors of one or more of the queries, and sends a plan identifying the sequence of queries to the user system.

  • Patent number: 11765045
Abstract: A system, methods, and computer-readable media are provided herein for real-time “live” identification of connectivity issues with autonomous predictive solution provision via a diagnostic application supported by a machine-learning model. In aspects, live data in a targeted application is captured in an on-going manner and used by the diagnostic application to automatically identify connectivity issues. When connectivity issues are detected, the live data capture is pushed to the model so that the model can make a predictive classification of the error based on geospatial, temporal, and/or geospatial-temporal alignments in the data. Based on the classification, the model predicts a solution and the diagnostic application provides the solution to the user of the targeted application.

  • Publication number: 20230289501
Abstract: A method of minimizing a cost function of a quantum computation is provided. The method comprises receiving input of an initial state of a quantum problem instance comprising a Hamiltonian with an associated cost function. The Hamiltonian is converted into a number of Pauli strings, which are used to form an operator pool. The Pauli strings in the operator pool are ranked according to how much they lower a value of the cost function with respect to the initial state. Pauli strings are iteratively added from the operator pool to a parameterized quantum circuit, in a manner to minimize circuit depth, until a variational quantum eigensolver (VQE) algorithm converges to an approximate ground state wave function generated by the parameterized quantum circuit.

  • Publication number: 20230290344
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for translating informal utterances into formal texts. Informal utterances may include words in abbreviation forms or typographical errors. The informal utterances may be processed by mapping each word in an utterance into a well-defined token. The mapping from the words to the tokens may be based on a context associated with the utterance derived by analyzing the utterance in a character-by-character basis. The token that is mapped for each word can be one of a vocabulary token that corresponds to a formal word in a pre-defined word corpus, an unknown token that corresponds to an unknown word, or a masked token. Formal text may then be generated based on the mapped tokens. Through the processing of informal utterances using the techniques disclosed herein, the informal utterances are both normalized and sanitized.

  • Patent number: 11741139
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for providing a response to a user query. Reception of a user query is detected. An augmentation machine learning model is utilized to determine one or more variations of the user query that correspond to a semantic meaning of the user query. A plurality of response candidates is determined that correspond to the user query by comparing the user query and the one or more variations of the user query to a plurality of documents. A final response candidate is determined from the plurality of response candidates based on utilizing a semantic machine learning model to perform a semantic comparison between the plurality of response candidates and at least the user query.

  • Publication number: 20230257788
Abstract: Sequential assembly of oligonucleotide hairpins is used to create oligonucleotides that encode a specific sequence of arbitrary information. Each oligonucleotide hairpin includes a payload region in the loop region of the hairpin. The payload region encodes arbitrary information such as a binary digit. Overhang regions on the oligonucleotide hairpins hybridize to anchor strands attached to a substrate. The hybridized oligonucleotide hairpins are covalently attached to the anchor strands by ligase. Invading strands are used to open the hairpin structures by also hybridizing to the anchor strand and displacing the double-stranded stem region of the hairpin. This process is repeated with another oligonucleotide hairpin that hybridizes to the end of the previously added oligonucleotide hairpin. A microelectrode array may be used to control the location of hybridization and create multiple different oligonucleotides in parallel.

  • Publication number: 20230257789
Abstract: Sequential assembly of oligonucleotide hairpins is used to create oligonucleotides with specific sequences. Each oligonucleotide hairpin includes a payload region containing one or more nucleotides that are added to the end of an anchor strand. Overhang regions on the oligonucleotide hairpins hybridize to anchor strands attached to a substrate. The hybridized oligonucleotide hairpins are covalently attached to the anchor strands by the activity of ligase. The oligonucleotide hairpins include an enzyme cleavage region which, when cleaved, separates the payload region from the remainder of the oligonucleotide hairpin. The oligonucleotide hairpin is separated from the anchor strand by denaturation and washed away. This process is repeated with additional oligonucleotide hairpins to add additional nucleotides to the ends of the anchor strands. A microelectrode array may be used to control the location of hybridization and create multiple oligonucleotides in parallel.

  • Patent number: 11710538
Abstract: The efficiency of polymer synthesis is increased by reducing the number of monomer addition cycles needed to create a set of polymer strands. The number of cycles depends on the sequences of the polymer strands and the order in which each type of monomer is made available for addition to the growing strands. Efficiencies are created by grouping the polymer strands into batches such that all the strands in a batch require a similar number of cycles to synthesize. Efficiencies are also created by selecting an order in which the monomers are made available for addition to the growing polymer strands in a batch. Both techniques can be used together. With these techniques, the number of cycles of monomer addition and commensurate reagent use may be reduced by over 10% as compared to naïve synthesis techniques.
