  • Publication number: 20240193978
Abstract: Computer implemented methods, systems, and computer program products include program code executing on a processor(s) that merges a document comprising multiple pages into a single document image. The program code processes the single document image to identify structural elements and textual content. The program code compares the structural elements of the single document image to other structural elements of a group of document templates stored in a database to identify a subset of the group of documents templates with a threshold number of similarities to the single document image. The program code generates, from the single document image, a graph structure representing the document, where the graph structure comprises visual information and connections related to the structural elements and concepts comprising the textual content. The program code uses the structure to identify a document template that is a closest match to the document.

  • Patent number: 11914101
Abstract: A method for partitioning a search direction when using least squares reverse time migration (LSRTM) is provided. LSRTM may be used iteratively in order to improve imaging accuracy. As part of LSRTM, multiple local line searches may be performed. In particular, image space may be partitioned, such as by using a set of masks. The search direction, such as the gradient, may be partitioned using the set of masks. Local line searches may be performed for each partition of the search direction, resulting in finding respective line search constants. The respective line search constants may then be used for iterating the model in order to improve imaging accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20240004356
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide functionality for creating a sustainable dynamic reduced-order model (SDROM) for operating a real-world industrial process. The model is based upon a reduced order model (ROM) trained using data obtained from simulations performed using a first-principles model (FPM) of the real-world industrial process. The trained ROM is divided into multiple-input, single-output (MISO) sub-models, which are partitioned into component terms for incorporation of respective gain factors. The SDROM is deployed online to operate the real-world industrial process with one or more optimization objectives and the SDROM is periodically calibrated and validated using historical operation data.

  • Publication number: 20240004355
Abstract: Embodiments control and optimize batch processes. An embodiment obtains and standardizes historical operating data from a plurality of batch production runs of an industrial process. For each batch production run, the standardized operating data corresponding to the batch is partitioned into one or more stages and one or more signature for each stage is determined using the partitioned standardized data. Each determined signature is associated with a class label based upon whether output of a batch run corresponding to the signature conforms or does not conform with operational standards. A model is trained, with at least a subset of the signatures as inputs and associated class labels as outputs, to predict, based on operating data from a real-world batch process, whether output of the process will conform or not conform with the operational standards. Online predictions can be automatically or manually applied to control and optimize a batch production run.
